"You good?" Ares ask while typing in front of her computer.

You stretch out your arms before massaging your temple. The more someone ask you if you're doing okay, the more headache pumps in your temple.

"I can manage." you gave her a faint smile to assure her that you can get things done.

Hopefully.

"You sure?" another one of your colleagues ask you.

The whole department is quite chaotic these days. Big project is happening for the company that's why pile and pile of workloads are coming.

"The boss believes in you too much to the point you're draining out." Ares whispered, her eyes were roaminh around to make sure no one else can hear it.

"Not really." you declined in embarrassed.

"Oi that's right. If this project succeed you'll probably have a promotion." Toru added and even gave you a thumbs up.

You laugh because of that.

It's actually possible since the boss favor me and clearly have high expectations. I always manage to surpass his expectation. Besides, it's been years since I started working here.

You looked outside of the window. The night is still young, the city of Japan shines like a crystal glass. It was beautiful and mesmerizing.

Weeks already passed by like a whirlwind. Nothing special really happen these past few weeks. Sanzu didn't appear again after that night.

Until now you really have no clue to why he was upset last time. His reaction were surprising, he got upset because I was with Haitani?

Telling me that Ran is asshole? What was that for? It's not like you had a playtime with Ran. The fuck is he thinking?

Jealous?

Well, based on his reaction it's the only reason I could think of. He mention that I was making out with him and after that I was with another guy.

You blushed remembering how you both cling onto each other. The way he moaned against your ear, his long and warm finger running inside your sweatshirt.

"Y/n!" you jolt when you heard Ares tapping your shoulder.

"What?" you said absent-minded.

"Are you okay? Your face is all red." she ask in worried tone.

Before you could even answer Toru approach you guys. He was holding some documents like a sensei being nosy to his students.

"Ahh you have love interest!" he pointed at you, more like accusing you.

Ares facepalm because of that. She even closed her eyes and shake her head before proceeding to type again.

"I don't know what you're talking about." you lean back on upur swivel chair.

"Why don't we have a drink after work?" he suggested that made Ares turned her head around us.

"Count me in." you wanted to laugh because of her distorted expression.

Each one of us is truly stressed out. It's friday night so I guess a little night out won't hurt. Besides it's been months since the last time you had a drink.

Toru and Ares were arguing where to drink. You smiled with the sight of them.

It's not so lonely after all, you thought.
