You are the boy
Whose shadow lurks on the wall
I am that girl
Who see's it all
Alone you feel
Sitting on the floor
I see you there
Not sure if you're aware
You wish to escape
Into a happier world
I stalk you silently
Hoping you'll notice me
No one understands you
Or so you think
Just look in my direction
It's me you need
Life is just a waste
You seriously hate this place
I can bring you joy
I can fill that empty space
No body cares
As you wipe away your tears
A step I'll take
Escaping out of my fears
Do you notice me?
Cuz I notice you
I see the sorrow
I see the despair
You grab your stuff
And you walk away
I hang my head
And cry violently
Where did you go,
Off alone?
I sit there,
Lost in reality.
A hand on my shoulder
Maybe a dream?
But I turn my head anyways
And what is it I see?
A shadow on the wall
And a flower in its hand.
A finger wiping the tears away
And an unexpected kiss
And you
The boy
Steps into my light
And finally see's the truth
You do see me
The girl
Who understands
And wants you
And finally
