The duo had left the house and made their merry way and travelled to the park on foot. They walked in silence, both not knowing what to say, or if they should say anything at all. Kenny broke the quietness and tried to make convo.

“So, how was your day Butters?”
“Well I guess it was okay! Except for the fact that I was sitting next to Eric in art class today and he made fun of us being together. He sure is a meanie,” Butters replied.

“Oh well, I guess that’s just Cartman being Cartman. You just gotta ignore him y’know” Kenny advised.

Butters nodded in agreement and fiddled with his thumbs. He was quite nervous as he’s never dated a boy before, the only people he’s dated was Lexus, the Raisins girl, and Charlotte.

Kenny noticed Butters’ anxiousness, and debated on whether they should hold hands or not.

‘YOLO’ Kenny thought to himself as he reached out to grab Butters’ hand. Butters jumped a bit at the sudden movement, but smiled as he realised Kenny was holding his hand.

Kenny returned the smile and the two talked about various things until they had reached the park.

“Well! Looks like we’re here!” Butters gleed. The pair found a nice grassy area to sit down in and pulled out their food. Kenny tucked into the sandwiches and munched away to his hearts content.

“Mmf! These are delicious Butters!”  Kenny said, muffled, his cheeks puffed out as his mouth was full of food, just like a hamster.
Butters giggled and thanked Kenny.

They sat there and talked for a while, they then finished their picnic and decided to walk around for a bit.

As they walked, Butters picked some flowers and made them into a little bouquet and gave them to Kenny who thanked him and blushed heavily.

"H-hey so I was wondering if you have any plans this weekend...sorry that's a really weird thing to ask...uh I was just wondering if you wanted to go on another date this weekend...." Butters stumbled over his words awkwardly: 'Kenny will never like you if you're talking like that' he thought to himself.

"I'm free nearly all of the time where would you like to go?" Kenny asked.
"Anywhere you want!" Butters said excitedly. Kenny was about to suggest going to a theme park,
when they saw some of the girls and they were talking to Cartman and laughing and pointing at them...this was gonna be bad.

Kenny pulled Butters' arm and went to walk in the other direction when they heard,
"HEY!" coming from Cartman.
"Oh hello Eric!" Butters said, oblivious of Cartmans mocking tone.

“So you two are a thing now? Oh that’s so cute!” One of the girls uttered in a high-pitched squeaky voice.

Butters started to fumble with his thumbs and look down at the ground. He was very agitated and his stomach felt uneasy, this was probably a foreshadowing of something that was soon to happen.

Kenny was p***ed off, he had wanted to go on a nice date with his boyfriend without any fuss.
“Yeah we are dating, and what about it?” Kenny spat at them.

Another one of the girls giggles, “Well we know that you’re only dating to get attention from the school, like when Tweek and Craig got together. You’re just copying them!"

Although Kenny was only going to be dating Butters for a week, he couldn’t help but feel offended.

He felt like he had to protect Butters and prove that they can be a happy couple and show everyone that they’re wrong. Him and Butters were far more affectionate to each other than Craig and Tweek are.

“You’re all jealous that I was able to pull a boyfriend before you guys. Pathetic. And f*** Tweek and Craig, we’re clearly better than them. c'mon honey let’s leave,” Kenny snagged Butter’s arm and they stormed off together.

They left the park and ran over to Butters house to chill there for a while.

They arrived at Butters front doorstep and their hands fell onto their knees as they hunched over, panting and wheezing. Their lungs were desperate for oxygen.

“Oh gee-whizz Kenny! I think we just started a ship war with Tweek and Craig!” Butters huffed.

“You bet your ass we did!” Kenny puffed.

He looked up and saw Butters with a wide smile on his face, trying to look normal and as if he was fine and not out of breath.

He admitted to himself, Butters did look quite cute.

’oh s***, i think i’m actually catching feelings for him’ Kenny realised.

They entered the doorway into Butters home and sat down, it looks like his parents still weren’t home. They tossed their picnic bag onto the dining table and slumped into the couch.

“Well since our date got ruined, I was thinking we could watch a movie!”  Butters joyed, his hand grabbing for the remote and the two sat close next to each other and tried to pick out a movie.

"So what movie do you want?" Kenny asked.
"Well your the guest so you can pick!" Butters said.
"How about a horror movie? Unless you don't like them..." Kenny suggested.
"Geez I don't know if I'm allowed to watch horror movies..."
"It'll be fine, do you have any?"
"Uh I don't think so...let me check" Butters said, feeling unsure.

He found an old copy of 'The Hills Have Eyes'.

"This looks pretty scary," Butters said.
"I guess we could try it." Kenny didn't think it looked that scary.
"I didn't know my parents would watch this kind of stuff!"

They sat on the couch and got some blankets and then put on the movie.

Butters screamed and hid under a blanket and Kenny couldn't help but find it cute.

When they finished the movie Butters refused to come out of the blanket, Kenny left and Butters said bye to him and thanks for everything from inside the blanket.

Later his parents found out what he had watched and grounded him, Butters didn't know how much longer he could keep his relationship a secret for.

It's not like he wanted to watch the movie or anything he just wanted to please Kenny.
