after the talk with edward that day i haven't heard back from him. i guessing he's trying to talk to her stubborn ass still.

i'm currently getting ready for an interview for my song that just dropped called exchange.

i was in the chair with my headphones on as the interview talked.

" wassup everyone it's james scranton today is a very special day because if you look across from me you see we have the one and only y/n in the building" he said into the mic.

" heyy" i said smiling.

"now y/n a few days ago was your moms anniversary for beating breast cancer.. how was that" he asked.

" it was a very emotional day for me you know.. remember of all the struggles not only she went through but i did for a small part of my life then looking at where her and i is today just.. makes me wanna cry again" i said laughing off the tears that wanted to come out.

" well from our little family here to yours we just wanted to tell you congrats to you and your mom for beating the odds" james said.

" now on to that song you wrote exchange" he said.

" yessir"

" first off that song has been on repeat in my car because it's a bop, second you wrote the song correct" he asked.

" yeah" i said fixing myself in my chair.

" how did you come up with these lyrics" he asked.

" the lyrics are actually directed towards someone" i said nodding my head.

" is it an ex? because you deff said something about an ex in the song"

" it is about an ex" i confirmed.

" can we know which one" he questioned.

" one y'all don't know about" i chuckled.

" well folks that's all the time we have but we not gonna leave y'all high and dry if you haven't listened to the song yet we gotchu right now here's exchange by y/n" he said and hit a button and i heard my song playing.

we took our headphones off and had a quick conversation then took a picture. i left and got in the back of my suv.

my phone started ringing so i checked who's it was and it was jamari kehlanis brother.

i picked it up and put it to my ear.

" hello" i said.

" y/n hey how you been" his voice came through my phone.

" i've been good hbu" i asked.

" we been alright listen auntie wants to see you she's misses you.. shit hate to admit it but i miss you too.. we keep up with you still and what not we just finished watching your interview" he said.

" jamari you going soft on me bruh" i chuckled.

" nigga i'm being for real right now" i heard him suck hit teeth.

" i'm just messing with you" i chuckled lowly. " will your stubborn ass sister be there" i asked.

" yeah her and edward are here.. she wasn't to happy when auntie said she wanted me to call you" he said.

" figured... i'll be there she still live in the same house" i asked.
