kehlani said she would meet me here at the house we renting in barbados because she's shooting a music video with saweetie.

i walked in and everything was set up nicely. the backyard had a pool and what not.

i walked up to the main bedroom and sat my bags down.

i decided to just take a nap until she got here. i got comfortable and closed my eyes to let sleep take over.

i felt hands on my chest. i opened my eyes and saw it was kehlani.

" hey sexy you finally decided to wake" she said.

" i might be a little jet lagged" i chuckled.

she did to and she leaned down and placed a sweet kiss on my lips.

" i got us food on the way here" she said getting off me.

" what'd you get" i asked.

" come downstairs and look" she said leaving the room.

i chuckled and got up and followed her.

when i got down my stomach growled and the smell of food hit my nose.

" damnn" my mouth watered look at the plate in front of me.

" the curry chicken with the rice and flatbread is yours" she said from in the kitchen.

" goooddd" i said back.

i sat down and started eating.

she came in with her food and sat across from me.

we ate in a comfortable silence.

" you think this trip will fix us" she asked.

" it'll ether make or break us and by the looks of it... we're gonna be just fine" i said with a smile.

" you think so" she said with a small smile.

" i know so" i chuckled

the trip was amazing. it really did help me and lani a lot. i feel like we are more connected than before. we worked on communication and a few other things.

she was currently sleep on my arm as i drove to my moms place.

i pulled in the driveway and turned the car off.

" hey" i whispered shaking her a bit.

she slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes.

" what happened" she asked looking around.

" at my moms" i said.

" oo yesss" she said hoping out the car.

i chuckled and got out.

we walked to the door and i was about to pull out my key when the door opened.

" my babies" my mom said happily.

" hey momma" i said hugging her.

" hey my baby" she said pulling away from me to hug kehlani.

i walked past them and walked in the house.

i walked to the couch and sat down.

i pulled out my phone and started playing games.

" it's glad to see you two on great terms again" my mom said.

" same here" kehlani said sitting next to me.

" it's hard when your relationship is surrounded by social media.. it's good you two took a break from everything and traveled" my mom said.
