Ep. 7: THE REST OF PRE-WED TRIP

The big family had their lunch at a famous seafood restaurant by the beach. Then they go to the harbor and meet Arm who has just arrived.

TAY
You didn’t buy us anything?

ARM
Of course I did, but I left it at my house.

GUN
How’s our Japanese clients?

ARM
They’re very cooperative, which made my job easier. And they’re looking forward to having another project with us.

A staff member tells them their ride is ready, and they all take a yacht ride to the KMA Exclusive Resort, which is on a private island 15 minutes away from the main beach. Upon arrival, they get a welcome drink and a Lei (Hawaiian flower garland) each.

Couples get their own room, Pond and Win share a room, Podd and P’Arm, lastly Namtan gets her own room. [gives the keycards to everyone]

They were planning to enjoy water activities after putting their belongings in their own rooms, but the sky won’t allow them. The rain starts to pour heavily, so they decide to enjoy the indoor facilities, like the playground for Love, spa for the grandpas, and billiards for the younger ones. After a few game rounds, Pond decides to go back to his and Win’s room. He is walking alone when he sees someone who’s wearing a black hoodie suspiciously enters the room which he remembers belongs to Namtan. He looks around, panicking to find help and luckily, he finds Ohm and Nanon walking towards him.

POND
P’!! [runs to Ohm and Nanon]

OHM
What’s wrong?

NANON
Why do you look like you just saw a ghost?

POND
I saw a weird man in a hoodie enter Aunt Nam’s room! What should we do?? She might be in danger..

NANON
Wait, what weirdo? Are you sure you saw it right? We have the best security system here, according to Dad.

OHM
Maybe it’s Uncle Podd?

NANON
Uncle Podd went to the spa with our parents, Paw.

OHM
Ah, right. Or maybe it’s Drake?

POND
I didn’t see the face but he’s walking like some creep who’s scared to get busted stealing something. I don’t think it’s P’Drake-

DRAKE
[Appears behind them with Frank riding on his back] Me what?

NANON
Pond said he saw someone suspicious entering your mom’s room, P’.

DRAKE
WHAT?!

FRANK
[Hop off of Drake] You serious, Pond??

Everyone follows Drake to walk to Namtan’s room’s front door. They try to eavesdrop but they can’t hear anything.

FRANK
Dek, didn’t Mom give you the second key?

DRAKE
Ah, right. I forgot. [Looking for the key inside his waist bag]

OHM
Wait, you wanna open it right away? What if the man’s actually Auntie’s boyfriend?? We might be invading their privacy..

DRAKE
But what if he’s a psychopath?! My mom’s life is at risk here!

FRANK
Let’s just open it, we can say sorry later if this is all a misunderstanding.
