"Look at us!-Oh and look at how far we've both gotten! You know, I couldn't have done it without you, really, I couldn't have."

The sound of machinery was buzzing amongst the room you stood in, you felt the floor shake beneath your feet.
Pieces of ceiling littered the floor amid other rubble, the place was evidently falling apart right in front of your eyes as if what was taking place in the chassis could be considered forbidden.

"Without your help I'd be nothing, well- nothing but empty headed, honestly. Remember those days? Ha." Wheatley spoke among the sound of hell.

You told him that was only moments ago, even then, he wasn't entirely an empty mind.

"Ah, but I really was quite the fool wasn't I? Not anymore. Oh how I've missed this."

The ground slowly became steady again, and the dust diminished through the air vents.

There he hung, looming entirely over your very being, his shadow so much more prominent against yours.

"And now? Well now, I don't need you anymore.- aha, you're utterly useless to me now, you know that?" He spoke in an overarching tone.

It was coming, that of a mechanical, robotic type arm reached out from the very ceiling, the paneling above shifting. It stalked slowly downwards and didn't make much of an effort to catch you in it's grasp as you had stepped away from it, becoming weary of it's soon resistance.

"Oh, don't look so disappointed! Or is that fear you're showing? Are you afraid? Don't be, agggh! you're making this difficult!"

His original tone of sounding smug was quickly replaced with a plead of guilt. It was almost like the machine was attempting to override any current feelings of regret.

He quickly regained his composure, lugging himself towards you. The arm suddenly veered behind you, pushing you fowards.

"-I mean- It's no big deal. Infact, it's quite funny. I've done this dozens of times, truly! Well, twice, actually. This is my second time." His eye rolled.

"Second time? I don't- I just don't get it. Why you want this!" You held your head in your hands, "I don't understand what you want."

"You don't need to understand! You-" He shook his head, slightly swinging from the chassis, looking downwards. "Forget it. You know what? I lied. I do need you." He carefully brought himself closer to you.

You hesitantly looked up, "Y-You couldn't need me. Look at you-I mean, you have literally taken over the whole facility. What more would you need, or-or want?" You spoke in a dejected manner, distraught at what could come next.

"No, really! I need you. Please." He practically begged.

"You're lying, I know it."

"Of course not! Well, who did you think would be completing the test chambers? Here's a guess, it's you! Oh- that was actually the answer-not a guess. Close enough though."

"This is unbelievable! Look what this things' doing to you, you've completely lost your mind." You pointed a finger at his face accusingly.

Wheatley's eye seemed to dilate before he turned completely around, "Why can't you just be happy for me!- Agh, you're the most selfish person I know right now, and I only know like, roughly several other people! including yourself, of course."

He then swiveled again, this time painfully slower, almost in a creepy manner.
"But you're still the most selfish, easily. Too easy, actually."

You felt the pressure suddenly lift from your back, the arm had swerved back around to grab you from a different angle. It almost immediately clamped down around your torso, violently hoisting you off the ground entirely, you were held out in front of him.

"The rest of those other people, by the way? Are dead as doornails. And that just might be you if don't start listening to me!"
