February 15, 2019Zyra's POV:
"Anak, what are you feeling?" There was a faint in my dad's voice. He's clearly worried.
"Can you...talk to me, Zy? It's been a week." I shifted my gaze kay Dad na naka-upo beside my hospital bed.
He looks tired. There was a handful of dark circles under his eyes.
"Have you rested?" I stared at asked him plainly.
I really don't want to talk. I'm still in shock and confused. I feel like there is always someone watching me. I feel scared. I just want to go home and leave this white room.
Dad looked at me with large eyes. "That...that is the first time you ever had spoken in awhile, Zy." He coughs and continued, "Anak, the doctors told me you can be discharged tomorrow since your wound sa tiyan is healing na. But you still need to get constant check up. Or you can stay her—"
"Let's go home," I cut him off, "I am fine." I broke our eye contact.
I really don't like Dad being like this and worrying about me.
"Okay, anak...but are you sure that you are," I heard him gulp, "Alright?" I nodded without facing him.
"Hmm. Okay then. I'll work on it and tell your doctor. I'll send your nurse here. Wait for me." He pat my head before leaving the room.
I stared blankly on the white wall facing me and sighed.
"Ano na bang nangyayari?" I wanted to cry out all of my emotions.
I still remember what happened on that night, vividly. I scan still remember how my friends were slaughtered by the girl in red. I can still hear their cries and shouts. It's all in my head, ringing.
And I don't like it! I don't want to remember!!!
Lalo na ngayon...it's been a week. Pero everytime na may sasabihin sakin sina Dad tungkol sa mga kaibigan kong namatay na daw...I don't believe him. My friends are not dead.
"Miss Villamor?" The door suddenly opened and revealed my nurse.
I shook away my thoughts and just looked at her weakly.
"Let's get you ready for to go home na po?" She said and I nodded.
I'll go home now. And maybe there, I could feel safe. Baka doon, matatahimik na ang utak ko. Without hearing from anyone, or everything.
Away from all the chaos. Away from the girl in red.
