Syaoran turned on his bed for the nth time. He had been lying on his bed for an hour now, yet sleep still had not caught him. Things had been pretty well for him these days, but he could not help thinking what might happen in the future. It was hunting him.

Since the day Sonomi Daidouji talked to him, simple thoughts of having the whole clan on his shoulders made him shiver. Even though he wanted to get away from it at times, he knew it was impossible. However, no matter what happened, there was one thing he was certain of: he would never leave Sakura.

Ring! – Ring! – Ring!

Frowning at the disturbance, Syaoran grabbed the phone with his right hand. “Hello?”

“Syaoran.” A female voice said.

If it was Meiling or Tomoyo, he would have groaned then would immediately excuse himself. However, he smiled as he recognized Sakura’s voice. “What’s wrong, Sakura?” he asked, wondering why she was not asleep yet. “We have to leave early tomorrow. You don’t want to be late, do you?”

"I know that." Sakura told him. "There's no need to remind me."

“What is it then?” He said, pushing the covers away from his body.  He walked towards the balcony door and opened it.

“I can’t sleep. I am so excited for tomorrow.”

Syaoran chuckled, imagining her excitement. If there was one thing that did not change from eight years ago, it was Sakura being energetic for outings and vacations. She had always been an outdoor person, opposite to what he had become. “Is that really it? or you just want to talk to me?” he teased.

“Hoe?”

“Are you really excited to be on the trip or on the fact that you could spend time with me for a long time?” Syaoran pulled off. He was not sure how he came up with that idea, but goofing around with Sakura won’t hurt.

“Hoe!!!” Sakura shrieked with embarrassment evident on her voice. Then, Syaoran heard her hump. “No way. And I always see you anyway.”

Frowning slightly, Syaoran sighed. “What if I leave?” He asked, truth partially running on his head. Though he trusted Sakura that she would never leave, he wanted to hear her say those words. That way he would know where to go and what to hope.

“You’ll come back. Just like what you did during sixth grade.” Her answer was sure, no doubts in any sort.

Syaoran grinned, agreeing with her thoughts. Though his mother wanted him back in Hong Kong, there would be no one to stop him from coming over to Japan just to see her.

"We are here." Eriol announced, stepping out of the cab. He smiled; glad to have a nice weather to welcome him and his guests. He looked at them; contented with the reactions they gave.

Sakura happily went out of the cab. “Wow.” She said, fascinated with the beautiful scenery of the sea before her. She did not expect to see one—after all, she thought England, particularly London, was only filled with different streets and old houses like the ones she saw in movies. However, Eriol’s place seemed to be at the edge of London, away from people.

Syaoran took in a deep breath, smiling too at the place. He thought it would be like Hong Kong, but the place was a bit comforting. It was perfect for a vacation, but he knew very well that simply being with her was enough.

“You like it?”

Sakura turned, meeting the sapphire eyes of Eriol. She beamed at him. “Of course, I do! You did not tell me that England is a very beautiful place.”
