“Ugh...” Eriol groaned as he continued to turn on his bed. He was breathing hard, trying his best to open his eyes but to no avail.

It was already dark when Eriol found himself standing at the entrance of Tsukimine Shrine. He could not remember why he was there, so remained still as his sapphire eyes scanned the area. Then he stopped.

“Eriol!” a female voice called out.

His eyes narrowed at the girl as she ran towards his direction. He looked at her carefully, but her face was blurred. The only thing that was clear to him was that she has a ribbon on her neck and attached to it was a pink key with a star on its middle and wings on its side.

She stopped few steps away from him. Slowly, she grabbed the key on her neck then a yellow circle appeared from where she was standing. "The key that holds the power of stars, show your true from to me..." The girl said, stretching out her hand.

Eyes widening, Eriol simply stood and watched her next move that was familiar to him.

"... I, your Master, do this under our contract. Release!" Then, like what he expected the key expanded to a wand that looked a lot like his staff.

“Who are you?” Eriol asked in a low voice. The girl has Clow Reed’s magic, but how come he was not aware of it?

The girl smiled sweetly. "Don't you know me? I am—"

“Master, wake up!” Kaho said as she shook Eriol’s shoulders.

With that, Eriol finally opened his eyes. He sat up, breathing hard. It was a relief for him that it was only a dream, but at the same time he knew that it was not as simple as it looked.

The scarlet haired woman sat beside him and looked at him with concern. “What happened?”

“There was a girl...” Eriol said, remembering every detail of his dream. “And like me, she has Clow Reed’s magic.”

Kaho stiffened. “Do you know who she is?”

Eriol shook his head. “I was about to. However, my dreams are often foretelling.” He said. “I would meet her soon. Only that, what fears me is that I don’t know what may happen next.”

“I can’t just wait like this!” Sakura protested as she stood up and grabbed her bag on the bench.

It was few minutes before afternoon class, but Sakura and Syaoran chose to remain at the back of the building. From that day she, Syaoran, Kero and Yue talked, they decided to be watchful wherever they were. Sakura and Syaoran started to bring their magical items with them all the time, Kero was trying his best to search for books at Fujitaka’s library, while Yue remained to be watchful using Yukito’s form. However, though they were prepared on whatever may happen, Sakura remained restless.

“Ahh!!!”

“What’s wrong?!” Syaoran asked worriedly as he ran towards her direction.

Sakura frowned. “Curse you, Kero!”

Syaoran turned his eyes on her bag, and saw the little guardian. Kero was holding a cupcake in his hands, just like what he was doing in the old days. Syaoran sighed.

"What?" Kero asked confusingly. "I was just eating here. You don't need to shout."

"Why did you follow me here?!” Sakura asked, voice rising, “What if someone see you?”

Kero swallowed his last bite then explain. “Well, there is none. Don’t worry, I know how to hide myself. Second, the book of cards is here so I need to guard them. Lastly, I believe I need to start investigating too. The presence is showing itself more these days if you haven’t noticed.”
