Harry P.O.V

We move into Louis' house slowly but surely. To be honest, it was quicker than I expected. It took us four days to pack everything up and bring it to Louis'. All the boxes are currently stacked up in his little study, us decorating the rooms before putting anything in permanently.

We went to B&Q yesterday to pick out paint and curtains for the kids' rooms. We found some boilersuits too, which we all bought matching ones so that if we get dirty, it wouldn't matter.

We are currently in Natalie's new room and she is ecstatic about the whole ordeal of having her own room for the first time in around three years. Louis looks adorable in his navy blue boilersuit, it hugs his small waist and his arse looks amazing but that's our little secret.

He has a paint bucket in his hand, the room is completely stripped from all old furniture. "Are you sure you want all your walls in this colour, nutty?" He asks, bringing the bucket up to head height to read the colour. It's powder purple and a very pretty shade.

She nods. "Yes. But I want that wall in this purple!" She points to the wall where the bed used to lean against, trying to hold up the purple paint bucket but it's too heavy, resulting her to dropping it. Thankfully, the lid is still on.

"Alright, as long as you're sure..." Louis shrugs and cracks open the powder purple paint, dipping his brush into the bucket and the paint trickles off the brush. He slaps it onto the wall with a whimper, brush strokes going up and down.

I grab my paint brush and begin doing the opposite wall. "You having trouble there, Lou?" I ask over my shoulder, peering over it to see a frown on his face.

He looks to me. "Harry, purple is the worst colour in the colour spectrum. It's just so loud and people who love the colour are just always such a pick me character. Like, they want to be a center of attention all the time!"

"Loulou! I want to paint that, daddy, look! I'm painting!" Natalie calls, pretending to paint the wall with her clean brush.

Louis motions to her. "See! She's the only exception, though."

I huff out a sigh, continuing with painting. "You're just jealous you can't get in the same energy. You like black and white, how original and boring do you have to be?"

He scoffs. "My favourite colour is red, actually so keep talking, curly."

"That isn't surprising at all."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He queries, dipping his paintbrush back into the paint.

"Well, red lovers are much louder than purple, they also are always so adventurous and lustful."

He mumbles something under his breath that I can't hear.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing!" He quickly replies, going back to painting.

"I want a glitter purple carpet too!" Natalie chimes, coming over to me with Louis' phone. She points to the screen and I see a picture of a carpet in light purple, speckled with glitter.

"Whatever the princess wants," Louis teases, giving her hair a light squeeze from where it's up in a messy bun.

She swats his hand away, typing away at his phone.

"What you looking at, Nut?" He asks, peering over her shoulder.

"I want to find curtains. How do you spell it?" She asks, brow creased in concentration.
