It's the next day and today we decided to start on decorating Robin's room, which we should've thought about before making the cot because we had to haul it all the way through the hallway and into Darcy's room for the time being. Which also means they'll be sharing a room for a few days which Darcy wasn't so fond about.

They're all in Natalie's room playing whilst Louis and I crack on with the painting.

There's so much orange in this room it's like the hottest depths of the sun has thrown up in here. But I like it, besides, orange is my favourite colour.

"To be honest, this is better than all that bleeding purple," Louis comments, slapping orange paint to the edge of the wall, smoothing it out so the layers are equal.

I chuckle through my nose.

"What?"

"Just never seen someone so passionate about envying a colour so much as you, Lou."

"Well, I like to take my work very seriously." He puts a hand to his chest.

I nod. "Uh-huh, so is that why you're not going into the office for the sixth time this week?"

He flips me off. "Piss off. Besides, I prefer spending my time with you."

I blush at that and bite my lip, looking away.

"Daddy!" Natalie screams urgently, running into the room with a huge frown on her face.

I turn, frantically looking. "Where's the fire?"

"What?" She raises her brows, shaking her head. "There isn't! Darcy can't fit into her school shoes anymore."

My eyebrows knit together. "How would she know? School isn't until three weeks away."

She sighs. "Yes but we wanted to play teachers so we were getting into our school uniforms and her shoes won't fit." She holds up a white wrinkled school shirt. "My shirt won't fit either and my pens have ran out of ink!"

Louis pats my back. "Guess it's that wonderful trip all parents look forward to, Harold," He sarcastically remarks. "It's time for the back to school shopping spree."

I groan. "It's not so much the stationery, it's the clothes. Get your siblings and shoes on Nat, we're going shopping."

We bustle around the place to get our shoes. Louis spends ten minutes debating which car to take and in the end, I just grab the car keys to his convertible and push him inside the passenger seat, taking up the spot behind the wheel.

"Harry, you're a criminal!" Louis gasps.

"What?"

"You're not insured on this car, if you get pulled over, we're done for!"

"Then insure me into your car like I did you with mine, you donkey." I shake my head, a little fond.

"Fine and did you really just call me a donkey, really?" He crosses his arms, the wind tossing his hair as we go down the roads.

"Yeah, although... you're more like a hedgehog."

"Yeah, well, you're a frog."

"Hey!" I drawl.

He shrugs. "Just stating. But you're a cute frog, like a tree dart frog." He pats my cheek and I find his finger, biting down on it gently.

He giggles, pulling his finger from my mouth and lacing our hands together against the gear stick.

We find a parking spot in the car park to the retail park. We jump out and Robin holds his hands up to Louis.

"Up, up!" He says. Louis picks him up and puts him on his hip but Robin squirms and screams, "No!"
