Louis P.O.V

As the ambulance speeds away, blue lights flashing, the girls are crying beside me.

I crouch down to them and give them a hug.

"Is he going to die?" Darcy asks through a sob.

I shake my head. "No darling, I don't think so."

"I'm scared. I don't want him to die," Natalie whispers into my ear.

I stroke their hair and rub their backs reassuringly. "Everything will be okay. Come on, let's go back to my place, we can have some chocolate milkshakes and we can pick up a McDonalds on the way."

"I'm not hungry anymore." Natalie rubs her puffy eye.

I pick them both up and they both bury their heads in my neck. I retrieve the bag from inside the restaurant.

"Is he okay?" The waitress asks.

I give her a glare. "You should've bloody well known if your products had any traces of nuts. Harry specifically asked and you denied. You could have killed his child! Do you have any idea how devastating that is? His daughters are distraught now that their brother has been taken away from them. Shame on you." I shake my head, my anger getting the better of me. "You'll be hearing from my lawyer." And with that, I scoop up the bag, hang it over Natalie's shoulders and storm out the restaurant with both girls still in my arms.

The drive back is silent and we go to a McDonalds drive thru anyway, I order us some chicken nuggets, fries, McFlurry and some milkshakes before driving off in the direction of home.

Once there, we sit in the front room quietly, sipping on the milkshakes more than anything.

They both have their teddies in their grasp, cuddle up either side of me. We have Frozen on as it's their comfort movie. I quietly hum along to the songs, hoping the girls are okay.

Half an hour later and Harry still hasn't texted or called to tell us any news and it's making me slightly worried.

I shoot him a quick text and he thankfully replies quite quickly, telling me that Robin is stable and will be staying overnight for observation because of his age. He also said visiting hours aren't until the next morning so he'll be staying with Robin over night, asking if I could have the girls.

And of course I agreed.

"Daddy texted me. Your brother is fine but they're going to stay in the hospital until the morning to keep an eye on him and to let him rest. You're going to be sleeping over again tonight, will that be okay?" I ask.

Natalie brightens up at the thought of both her brother being okay and staying over an extra night. "Loulou, can I paint my bedroom? I don't like the grey."

I choke on my milkshake I was sipping on. "Alright, is this your way of telling me I have bad interior taste? I'll tell you what, if things go well between you and your daddy and you're still liking me after the trip away to the lake, you can paint it any colour you want."

"Really? Even purple?"

"Even the purplest purple you can find."

She hugs me tightly, kissing my cheek. "Thank you Loulou, I love you."

My heart melts and I wrap my arms around her. "I love you too, nutty."

"Can I paint my room rainbow?" Darcy asks.

I look to her. "Yes! Supporting us gays, love you dotty."

She laughs. "I love you too. Louis, are you our dada now?"
