Chapter 8

i needed a while to come up with stuff and im very sorry that it went into hiatus so early in the book. You may notice i have deleted the "please help" chapter. that's because i hate reading a story, it has a lot of parts, and then most of the book is A/N chapters. i don't want that happening to you guys.

Y/Ns POV

I sighed, walking in the house. I.. didn't get the job. Which kinda sucked. I shut the door behind me, going over to the couch, and sitting down. this fuckin sucked. I'd been looking for days. not even a gas station wants to hire me.

Keith, Cherry, and Pico were out for vacation. So, i would look over Sayori. Which, wouldn't be too bad, she's a gentle snake. I got up, and went over to the terrarium. She was gently pressing her head against the glass. I pressed my finger against the glass, and moved it to the left. She followed. I realized, that i had to feed her today. I quickly ran to the kitchen, grabbing a plastic cup, trying to remember what i had to do.

I put some water in the cup, and set it by the sink. I went back to the terrarium, and opened it. I gently held my hand up to her. She slithered up my arm, and moved around a little, wrapping around my neck. I thought that would be a bit weird, but i didn't complain.

I went to the freezer, and pulled out a rat. I went to the kitchen, and set it in the cup. I was told this was how to thaw it. I grabbed my phone, and set an alarm for a few hours later. I went upstairs, and walked into my room. I sat down on my bed, grabbing my laptop. I went on some weird online store, and starting looking for any wii's that they would have. Sayori slithered down my arm, and pressed her face against the screen. I smiled. I gently pat her head with my finger. She's cute..

She looked up at me. She shifted, and slithered up my arm. I looked at her. She gently pressed her head against my cheek. I smiled again. i gently pat her head, and continued looking. I found one. Pretty cheap. So, i ordered for it to be picked up in person. They agreed, and we would be meeting later. I shut off my laptop, and went downstairs. The alarm went off as i got into the kitchen. I pulled out my phone, and turned off said alarm. I grabbed some tweezers, and pulled out the rat. Sayori started to inch towards it. I moved it to the side- her look followed.

I went back to her terrarium, and let her slither inside. I gave the rat to her. She immediately snapped at it, grabbing onto it. I set the tweezers down, and pulled up a stool. I sat down, and watched. It was kinda interesting to me. I don't know why, but it just..was.

After she ate, i held my finger up to her. She gently pressed herself against it, giving me a little kiss. I smiled. She slithered off in her terrarium, and into her little cave. I shut the door, and got up, putting the stool back where it was. As soon as i was done, i heard the door open. I looked over, seeing Garcello.

"Hey there." He greeted with a smile.

I smiled, and waved in return.

He walked in, shutting the door behind him. He took off his trench coat, gently setting it on a coat rack.

I watched, as he sat down on the couch, and turned on the TV. I slowly made my way over, looking down as i fiddled with my hands. I heard a sigh, and a "cmon in.".

I looked up, to see Garcello have his arm stretched out. I gently took his hand, and he immediately pulled me to him. I now layed on him, as he wrapped his arm around me. I hugged onto him. Today was actually kinda tiring. Going over to multiple places, trying to get a job..it kinda sucked. Then i stopped for food, continued, it was just.. horrible. But now, it felt peaceful.

Just Garcello and i, huddled up on the couch, watching TV..well, he is, and me hugging onto him..it felt like the best thing in the world. I faced the TV. Apparently, he switched to the news, which was reporting a recent murder in the town. Surprising. I never really thought that would happen.

I sighed. The world can be a cruel place. I suddenly remembered something. i looked down at my phone. I have a bit. If i run, i can make it. I immediately got up, and ran to the door, putting on Garcellos trench coat.

"What's going on?" He seemed curious.

"I FORGOT I HAD TO GET SOMETHING, I PROMISE I'LL BE BACK!" I shouted, opening the door, running out. I ran as fast as i could. I ran, and ran, and ran, as fast as i could to the address. I saw the person standing outside their house, and i waved. She smiled, and waved back. I ran over, out of breath. I handed her the money, and she handed me the box. I thanked her, and she nodded, telling me to have a nice day. I thanked her again, and ran back to the house.

Timeskip

I shut the door, setting the box on the table. I smiled at it, feeling accomplished. I sat down on the couch, leaning against Garcello, not caring to take off the trench coat. He wrapped his arm around me, and handed me a chocolate bar. I opened it, and ate as we sat there together, watching TV for the rest of the day.
