Y/N's POV

I heard a yawn, snapping me out of my daze. The sun was starting to rise, the fire just dying out.

"Someone's still tired." I spoke, chuckling as Garcello got up. He stretched, and then signaled for me to stay there. I nodded as he walked off, taking the time to make sure my bag was closed, as i put it on.

A bit later, Garcello came back, holding a duffle bag. I could tell there wasn't much in it.

"Alright, let's head out!" He exclaimed. I nodded, walking off- i heard as he walked behind me. We walked for a while.

I checked my phone, checking the time. 6:00 AM.

I put my phone back in my pocket, and a few minutes later, i felt something grab my wrist.

It was another weirdo.

Before they could say anything, Garcello kicked them down.

I then grabbed his hand, running, trying to get to the apartment building faster.

I panicked, an hour of me running nonstop.

I ran up to the building, letting go of Garcello's hand. I tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge. I picked at the lock with a paperclip, eventually succeeding, gently opening the door. I led Garcello to a room, opening it. I walked by the window, setting my bag down.

I heard as Garcello gasped, shutting the door behind him.

I looked behind me, watching as he set his bag down, and sat on the bed with awe. I giggled, going over to him, sitting on the bed. There was only one- it was a big bed.

"If you'd like, i could sleep on the floor. I wouldn't mind." I offered. He immediately shook his head.

"No, no, it's alright!! I'm just surprised! I didn't think this would feel so good, for a bed."

He layed down on the bed, sighing in relief. I giggled. He pulled me down onto the bed, holding me close. I laughed, hugging onto him. We talked, just looking at the ceiling. It was great, honestly. Way better than anything I've ever done before.

i sighed, looking up at him.

"you already like it here, huh?" I asked.

he nodded. "better than the streets..and it isn't cold."

I shoved my head under his trench coat. it was so soft on the underside...he chuckled.

"cold?"

I nodded. he let go, me doing the same, as he sat up, taking off his trench coat. he gently put it on me, leaning against the wall, bringing me closer, hugging onto me. i gently hugged onto his arms as he turned on the tv. we both watched tv together, relaxing. i pulled out my phone, starting to draw.

i looked back up at garcello every once in a while. then back at the phone, as I drew. eventually, he spoke up.

"whatcha doing?"

"oh- I'm uh..d-drawing you." I replied, blushing a little, as I finished coloring. i showed him.

"looks beautiful." he spoke. i looked up, seeing him smile. i gave him a little kiss on his cheek, before getting back to work on the drawing.

"you're more beautiful, though." I replied.

"noo, look at you! gosh, you're so pretty.." he gently pat my head. i giggled.

"thank you.." I blushed.

Timeskip

it was late. i set up my phone to charge, as garcello layed back down. I gave him back his trench coat, as i got up, and went over to the window. It was nice out. Stars. A few people walking by every once in a while. Maybe i could buy an actual house.

I thought, as i looked outside. I'm glad i ran. They were just..too much. Why force me to live with them anyways? I didn't see the point of it.

I heard footsteps behind me a bit later, as i was still thinking. I was picked up, making me flinch.

"hey, alright, don't stay up all night, please." Garcello spoke, carrying me over to the bed, and laying me down. I sighed. "Alright, alright, i will."

He layed down next to me, getting under the covers.

Timeskip

I woke up, seeing that Garcello wasn't next to me. I immediately got up, and did whatever the hell i had to. I quickly went downstairs, running outside. He wasn't here either. I quickly went upstairs, grabbing my revolvers, and running back down. I started to run around the small town, before i was suddenly grabbed on my shoulder- stopping me.

"Looking for this guy?" I was asked, as i turned around. Two people were trying to hold garcello still, as he thrashed around- the third talking to me.

"Yeah. What are you gonna do to him?" I started to get worried.

"I thought you'd know my face. Guess you're as stupid as always." They took off their sunglasses.

"Come back to us, sweetheart.." my dad spoke, holding his hand out. I smacked it away, disgusted.

"WHY WOULD I GO BACK? YOU ABUSED ME." i yelled.

"We never abused you..HEY! I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO KEEP HIM STILL!" he shouted, looking back at the two men trying to hold garcello still.

"Yeah, you did."

"Come back, or he dies."

He then pulled out a gun, pointing it at garcello.

"You wouldn't." I spoke, reaching for my back pocket.

"Oh, yes I would."

"Fine. Put him down, I'll go with. But he comes with." I replied. He nodded, snapping his fingers- the two men let go of garcello, who ran over to me, hiding behind me.

My dad held his hand out. "You finally ready to come home?" He asked.

"Nope."

I then pulled out my revolver, shooting him. He fell back. The two men pulled out their pistols, aiming them at me. I quickly grabbed my dad's pistol, shooting them both. I then put the guns away, grabbing garcellos hand, running back to the apartment.

As we got in the room, i quickly packed what i had to.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Somewhere he can't track us." I replied, grabbing his hand as i finished, running out, putting on my bag.
