I am so sorry, I haven't had the motivation to publish much and haven't had the time either!
I hurt my foot in basketball not long ago and now I've hurt my knee so I will have more time to publish more chapters on both of the stories :)
"Okay." Hermione said and put her wand on a small table next to the tree house bed. "I am not completely sure if it worked and if it will be permanent."
"I think it's good." George simply said. "Evie, do you remember anything new?"
"Yeah." You said. "I remember everything."
Hermione look so shocked at the fact that she had gotten that spell correct but George was acting like it was completely normal.
"Wait seriously?" Hermione asked and you nodded.
"Seriously." You confirmed. "I can even tell you something if I have to."
"I just don't know what to ask you-" Hermione said but George cut her off.
"Do you know who Stephanie is?" George asked. "If you do then tell us what she looks like and what memory you have of her."
"Oh I know Steph, I have every memory of her." You said. "She has blonde hair, normally wavy, brown eyes and is always with Hermione and Ginny. I met her when I was here last Summer, is she still here? She was really nice!"
"Yeah that's definitely Steph." George said. "She'll be here soon."
You, George and Hermione stayed in the tree house just talking about all of the memories and people you could now remember for a while. After all the talking, you had no idea what you were going to do now or what anyone's reactions will be to seeing you again.
What if they wouldn't trust you?
Even worse.. what if they couldn't remember you?
"George? Hermione?" Ginny's voice called out from outside of the tree house, it made you three freeze.
Shit.
"Oh shi-" George went to say but Hermione threw her hand over his mouth and grabbed his arm. "What are we going to do?"
"Evie, hide up there!" Hermione pointed to the top bunk bed and you climbed up the small ladder, climbing into the duvet and covering yourself. "George.. uhm, act like we are doing something!"
"Doing what?" He asked.
"Anything, I don't know! Ginny just can't see Evie yet, it might not be safe." Hermione said and sounded worried, then you had an idea.
"Act like you two are kissing." You whispered from under the duvet.
Hermione sighed and you could practically hear George's grin on his face.
"Fine." She sighed again and threw her arms round George's neck, his hands moved down to her waist.
The two leaned closer when they heard Ginny walking up to the tree house door. When Ginny walked in and saw the two about to kiss, they immediately pulled away and looked at her.
"Did I interrupt?" She asked in a low voice and didn't give either of them a chance to answer. "Sorry. Mum wants you two."
Ginny left without another word and walked back to the burrow, Hermione followed her and George stayed behind for another minute or two.
"Are you going to be alright out here alone?" He asked and you came out of the duvet, now sat on the top bunk bed. "I can stay in here with you, I'm sure Fred won't mind-"
"George, it's fine." You said. "Honestly, I've been alone for ages so I think I can handle a few more nights, go back inside."
"Fine." He said. "I'll bring you some food in the morning, I need a good excuse to be out here a lot as well so we can start making something too!"
"That sounds fun." You sent George a nice and comforting smile.
"I'll see you tomorrow, kid." He gave the same smile and left the tree house, shutting the door on his way out and walked back to the burrow.
After George had left, you laid down again and stared at the wooden ceiling, waiting for your eye lids do get heavy. Eventually, it was hard for you to keep your eyes open so you decided to just roll over and get some sleep.
You slept a dreamless sleep that night and woke up determined to do something. Anything.
You got out of bed, not getting changed because you had no clothes, and started to look around a bit. Looking under the bed, in the drawers and even outside of the tree house.
There was nothing fun that you could find so you just picked up some sticks and elastic bands to make something with for a while.
You took some time to think about what make with the sticks and elastic bands until you finally had an idea.
After spending a while of messing up on your designs and redoing them over and over again, you heard someone walking up the stairs to the tree house.
Jumping up, you looked out of the small window in the tree house to see George running towards the door with a bag on his back, holding something in his hand.
"Evie Sophia Elizabeth Williams!" George yelled but not too loudly and entered the tree house. "I have a surprise for you."
He looked down at you, you were sat on the floor again just fiddling with the thing you made with the sticks.
"Is that a house?" George laughed at your poor attempt of making a house with sticks. "Even I could to better, and that is saying a lot."
"If you are so good at making stick houses, prove it to me." You put a pile of sticks in front of George's feet, he sat down and shrugged.
"Oh I will." He started to make his own house.
As the day went on, you and George just made stick figures instead of the idea that George had. Both of you had completely forgotten about his idea and just went along with you idea, talking whilst doing it.
"Can I tell you something?"
A/N: I just want a friendship like George and Evie's, I pictured them as me and one of my ex friends and now I just miss him more than ever right now.
he's dead too so that helps.
