So you did try to sleep but it was no use when someone started to walk up the stairs.

You sat up and saw a pile of red hair at the top of the stairs, looking down at where they were stepping. The person walked inside the tree house and still hadn't looked in your direction. They pulled off their shoes and placed them down, turning around and seeing you straight away just staring right at them in the eye.

That's when you got it, a memory of this person, this boy.

He was one of the same identical people that threw you in a pool, him throwing food at you with a bunch of red heads watching, him braiding your hair when you struggled to do it yourself. Even him and another boy, probably a twin, walking you across the road and saying goodbye to you.

"Have a nice night, Evie." The boy said as you and him reached your door. "I'll see you tomorrow, mum says we are putting a pool in our garden so you don't want to miss that!"

"I won't then!" You hugged him. "See you tomorrow, Georgie."

"Sounds like a plan, Eve." He ruffled up your hair before pulling away from the hug, walking back over the road and waving goodbye.

"Who are you?" Was the first thing 'Georgie' said to you. "How come your in our tree house?"

"Georgie?" You asked.

"Woah." He stood up straight. "How do you know my name, actually my nickname?"

"I-I don't know if you remember me." You said and rubbed your arm as you moved your legs to create space for George to sit down. "Sit. It's me, E-"

"Evie.." He gasped after looking into your eyes and seeing the same ones that lit up whenever there were cookies around. "What.."

"Yeah." You said as he sat down next to you with a very shocked face. "I was here the other day. I couldn't talk or explain myself or do anything, but I managed to escape. I got out, George."

"Wait what?" George asked. "You we're here the other day? As in Christmas Day?"

"Yeah." You nodded.

"It was you." He realised. "You were the one that burnt down our house."

"Well, n-" You went to defend yourself but he stopped you by getting up again and talking.

"That's why Ginny was yelling your name, crying and begging for you to come back." He shook his head. "How could you do that? You could just come home for a bit, burn our house down, let your own best friend see you for a few minutes after being away from her for like five fucking years and then leave again?!! You can't do that. She was broken when you first left, not to mention you left without a reason or explanation, but you broke her all over again. My sister spent that Christmas night crying into my chest and getting no sleep at all because of you, and you show up again after exactly one week like it's nothing?"

It was the first of January then.

"I didn't have a choice!" You stood up, now being face to face with George. "I had to help on Christmas, I had to leave Ginny, I had to do everything that I didn't want to do! I left everyone, I left you, I left my brothers, I left your family. I left Ginny. I had to leave you all and do all this crazy shit that harms everyone just to keep you safe. If I didn't obey everything that Voldemort has been saying then I would be dead right now, Ginny would most probably be dead right now! I'm doing all of this just to protect everyone I cared about. Everyone I care about."

"Why did you leave?" He asked.

"I got taken away at night." You replied. "It's like I forgot about everything and only now I can actually remember it."

"Wait." He said and sat down. "Sit down, let me tell you something."

You sat down next to George and he looked you in the eye, he could tell that you had grown and not just as in getting older. You had grown stronger and more independent.

"First, I am sorry for yelling at you and saying all that shit to you. I get real defensive about any of my siblings, especially Ginny since she is the youngest." He said and grabbed your hands. "But other than that, I think I know why you forget everything and why it's all coming back to you."

"Well tell me then, I want to know why I forgot everything in the first place and how I feel like this." You said eagerly.

"I can't explain it properly." George said, let go of your hands and stood up again but you stayed sitting. "My friend can though. Stay right here. And don't leave us again!"

"I won't." You told him as he forgot about his shoes but practically jumped down the stairs and ran inside.

You saw him running away from the tree house and to his house from the window. He ran inside and very shortly after, George left with a girl with bushy, brown hair.

The two headed closer to you, George practically running and the girl walking not that far behind him. The closer that the girl got, the dizzier you felt.

When they made it to the bottom of the stairs, you were hit with yet another memory.

"Hermione!" You yelled and hugged the girl, who hugged you back. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever.

"That's because you haven't!" Hermione said and pulled away from the hug. "Are you coming with us to the Quidditch World Cup?"

"Of course I am." You said and gave her a hair band, knowing she wanted one. "It's quidditch, I would never miss that."

"Of course you wouldn't." She laughed and put her hair up in a ponytail. "Come on, Ginny is waiting outside with Harry and Ron. Then you can say hello to the boys if you haven't already."

"Sounds like a plan." You said and connected arms with her and walked through the house, straight to the back garden where everyone else was waiting.

The memory was finally over and you felt like you had known Hermione for ages now.

George and Hermione walked up the stairs, he said something to her as they were doing it though.

"Remember, do not tell anyone about this or I swear I will haunt you when I die." George said and made it to the top of the stairs, Hermione followed shortly after him.

You were looking down, playing with a bead bracelet on your wrist and Hermione couldn't see your face.

"Who is this?" She asked George and pointed to you.

You looked up at Hermione and straight away she knew who you were. She was shocked and took a few steps back.

"This is Herm-" George went to say her name.

"Hermione." You whispered.

"Hermione, this is Ev-" George went to say your name.

"Evie." She whispered.
