Umair and Sinan arrived at the inn which was the designated meeting location just after sunset. They quickly washed up and prayed three ra'akat of Maghrib before going to a nearby eatery to fill up their empty stomachs.

"Assalamu Alaikum!"

Upon entrance, Umair was met with the smiling face of the Riyami heir.

"It's a good thing we came here to eat too. What a coincidence!"

Umair felt a headache coming on.

Sinan looked amused as he replied to Hudhaifah's salam. "Coincidence? I could have sworn we planned to meet up here...?" He really couldn't follow the thinking of the youth nowadays.

Hudhaifah blinked innocently. "Oh dear. How could I have forgotten? Anyhow, come and join us. We've already ordered." He led the two to a corner table already spread with a variety of dishes.

Umair silently prayed to Allah that he doesn't regret working with them.

Dinner was filled with miscellaneous conversations. Sinan filled the trio on the latest case in Sector 12. The trio in turns shared funny anecdotes from their lives – it was mostly Ghalib and Hudhaifah mocking the prince.

Suhayl pursed his lips as the group laughed at him; he sniffed imperiously, "I have better things to do than spend time with plebians who have no respect."

"Oh no. Go on then. We plebians will stay right here."

"We wouldn't want to intrude on your absolutely important daily session of staring into the mirror to practice your royal smile."

Even Umair cracked a smile at that.

Suhayl, who was about to retort, noticed that with pleasant surprise and continued to banter back and forth with his friends,
