Juniper woke up at the bottom of a hole. Everything hurt. Her wings and head took the cake, though. Argh. Now she wanted cake. She opened her eyes. It took them a minute to adjust to the darkness. Juniper could see she was at the bottom of a deep hole. It was lined with many rocks and ledges, which must have broken her fall. She examined herself for injuries. Her right wing was dislocated at best, and the left one appeared to be temporarily paralyzed. Which left her with two options: climb, or die. Juniper sighed and pulled herself up the rock wall. One tiny clawhold here, one little rest-stop here. Halfway up, she found a bunch of roots in the wall, which she used to pull her up. Eventually, Juniper ran out of roots, and continued climbing the old fashioned way. After what felt like a century, she finally caught sight of the edge of the hole. Two maroon talons reached over the edge, grabbed Juniper's, and pulled her up.
"Good job. Although if you had let me know of your existence, I would have been able to help you. Why are you climbing anyway- oh." Equinox stopped when she saw Juniper's wings. One dragging behind her, the other sticking out at a weird angle. "Please tell me none of them are broken."
Juniper shook her head and pointed to them. "Dislocated, paralyzed."
"Ah."
"We need to get that fixed before you fall off something else." Said a new voice. Juniper and Equinox whipped around to see a very familiar IceWing. "Frostblood!" They both exclaimed. Behind Frostblood were the rest of the Dragonets.
"What are you doing here?!" Juniper said.
"You didn't think you could have all the fun without us, now did you?" Said
Iceseeker.
"Well, since you're here, we should start figuring out where to go next. There are at least twenty tunnels, and I don't even know which is goes where."
"I guess we'll just pick a random one, then?" Widow said. Everyone either nodded or shrugged. Juniper shrugged and selected a random tunnel. They walked. And walked. And continued to walk.
"So we wanna stay." Juniper sang when she was bored as heck. Equinox, Widow, Cove, and CocoaDust decided to sing some background vocals. The rest of the others sang with Juniper(apart from Lily, who beatboxed, and Scorpio, who just silently sulked in the back).
