Pyrrhia woke up in a dark abyss.
Or at least, that's what it looked like. After further inspection, she realized that she was just blindfolded or something.
"I quite like this dragon. They have abilities I really enjoy."
Said a voice. Pyrrhia tried to remove whatever was covering her eyes, but she realized her talons were chained to something.
"Oh good, she's awake."
"Mmfmmf mm mm." Pyrrhia said through something that bound her mouth shut. Her blindfold was removed. She was on the floor of some kind of back closet to something. Short chains bound all four of her talons to the floor. Her wings were also chained to something. There was a metal band around her waist that chained her down. Pyrrhia went cross-eyed trying to see what was around her snout.
"Oh, it's kind of a cup-shaped thingy strapped around your horns."
"Hmmfmm." Pyrrhia looked behind her with interesting difficulty, and saw that her wings were clamped together and chained to the back wall. Whoever this was really didn't want her to escape. She looked back and saw two dragons. A HiveWing, and... a NightWing? But weren't NightWings- OH. This one must also be controlled. "Mmf fmm mm mmf mmf mm?" Pyrrhia asked through her muzzle.
"Come again?"
Pyrrhia just glared.
"Oh, you're asking what I want with you."
Pyrrhia begrudgingly nodded.
"Well, I recently heard that you're a Flamesilk."
Her heart stopped.
"Yes, I found out."
Violet was gonna freak out almost as much as Pyrrhia was.
"I will let you go on one condition: you will never use your Flamesilk, nor will you tell anyone about today. Or any time you spent here. Then again, I don't know if I can trust you. So I guess I'll just keep you, then. Although, I could enchant you... no, you'll probably find a way to cheat any spells I cast. But if I keep you, your friends will notice you're missing. Although I suppose it's the best option." The plant sighed. That is, through it's hosts. "Since I'm feeling kind, I will take this off." The HiveWing reached over and removed the "cup-shaped thingy." The HiveWing and the NightWing left. Pyrrhia immediately began plotting an escape. She couldn't use her Flamesilk, as the chain got in the way of the silk gland. Her claws weren't covered... this would take a while, but it may work. She traced her claw in a circle in the treestuff around what the chain was attached to. Finally, the circle was cut out. Pyrrhia continued sawing out circles around the rest of them. And now, all there was left to do was wait.
Juniper
Juniper hadn't been able to sleep. She didn't know how to feel about her sister. Leafspeaker seemed like a kind dragon. And Juniper had always dreamed of her family. But there was one thing she wondered.
What had happened to her mother and father? Leafspeaker mentioned mother at one point, but Juniper hadn't met either of her parents. Would she meet them? She hoped they weren't dead. She hoped they weren't terrible. She hoped-
"OHGODGETOFFME-"
Juniper screamed as a furry spider crawled along her arm while she was doing her morning stretches. She shook it off like a crazy dragon. "DIE!" She stomped on it and threw it off the tree platform.
"Who are you yelling at?"
Juniper jumped and turned around to see Amanita stepping out.
"UH... no one."
