"Ashlyn, I don't know what to wear! I'm freaking out here!"

"Well do you know what you guys are going to go do?" Ashlyn asks over FaceTime.

"We're going out for dinner and then I have no idea after that"

"What kind of dinner? Like fancy dinner or like pizza at Slices dinner?"

"We're going for risotto so I guess semi-fancy? I don't know!"

"Okay, then go for a cute little dress! What about that blue and white one you have?" She asks.

"Ash, I have like three of those"

"Quarter length sleeves, flowy"

I pull out the one that I think she's talking about.

"This one?" I ask showing her the dress in my hand.

"Yes! That one! That one would be super cute for tonight!" She claps

"Yes! That one! That one would be super cute for tonight!" She claps.

"Okay, and should I curl or straighten my hair?" I ask.

"You never straighten it so go for it"

I straighten my hair and put some makeup on while I talk to Ashlyn.

"Are you excited?" She asks as I put on my mascara.

"I could vomit"

"Um..."

"I mean yes, I am excited, this is just our first real official date after like a month of dating" I say.

"What took you guys so long?"

"Well we've been on dates but I guess we never considered them one but they were. This time we're making sure we're both aware that it's a date. And treat it like a real date and not just a boyfriend and girlfriend 'hanging out'" I change into my dress off camera.

"That's honestly really cute"

"He treats me so right. It's kind of sad but he always tries too hard to do the right thing. Like he doesn't want to mess anything up like he has in the past and that means so much to me"

"Yeah, he's talked to me about it. He said that what you guys have is nothing like what he had with Nini and that's a good thing. He said that he doesn't want to and can't mess this up with you. He also said something else but..." Ashlyn says widening her eyes, realizing she may have said too much.

"What did he say, Ash?" I ask.

"Nothing, he said nothing else" she smiles, trying to hide her nervousness.

"Ash..."

"It's not my place to say"

"Fine" I roll my eyes slipping on a pair on white platform sandals.

"Fit check?" I ask showing her my full look and doing a little spin.

"You look so pretty! He's going to die!" She squeals.
