Break through (Sasuke x Reader)

7 (Land of Waves 1)

"Everyone get on." We all got on the boat I sat to the right of my dad and to the left of sasuke. The first part of the trip was pretty quiet. "The bridge isn't far now our destination is just ahead. The land of waves." I have a gut feeling that something bad is going to happen. If I had learned anything in ANBU is that you should trust your instincts. A couple seconds go by then it starts to come into view. "OH MY GOD IT IS HUGE!" Nartuo yelled without any warning. "Hey quiet, I told you to not make noise." The man that was rowing the boat scolded. "Why do you think we are traveling like this? Cutting off the engine and rowing, and moving through the dense fog so they can't see us." "Mr. Tazuna before we get to the pier I want to ask you something about the men who are after you I need to know why and if you don't tell us I will end this mission when we get to the pier." He waits a few moments trying to make up his mind. "I guess I have no choice. No it is not that I want you to know the truth." He explains about Gato and why he is out to kill him and why the bridge is so important because the land of waves is surrounded by water and as soon as the bridge is built Gato is out of power. "Why, if you knew he was dangerous why did you hide that from us?" I asked but already knew why I did a lot of research when I first became a Jounin so I could skip some of the ANBU classes and become a member sooner. "Because all of the people in the land of waves is poor. Even our nobles have little money. And the people making this bridge can't pay for A or B ranked missions it is to expensive. If you leave and just leave me ashore I will be killed. But don't feel bad my sweet little grandson will only cry. "Granddad I want my granddad". And my daughter will live the rest of her life in sorrow. It is not your fault so just forget it." We all sigh. "Well I guess we have no other choice we will keep guarding you." Kakashi finalized Mr. Tazuna looked shocked. Dumb Geezer guilt trapping them, honestly we should let him rot right on this boat. "Oh, I am very grateful." The guide keeps on rowing the boat. "We should be arriving soon." The guide spoke. We go through this tunnel looking thing and on the other side is a bunch of houses on an ocean.

We got off the boat. "This is as far as I will take you. Good luck." I turn around and face him I bow. "Thank you for helping us." "Okay, now take me home and, I mean in one piece." Tazuna starts leading the way. "Alright lets go team 7." The rest of us start walking into a forest. The next ninja they will send is going to be way more skilled than the last one. I start to hear heavy foot steps I look behind me and see Naruto trying to keep up with Sasuke and every time Sasuke sped up Naruto did also to try and get in front of him. Naruto runs ahead of everyone and stops and looks around. "OVER THERE!" He grabs a kunai and throws it into some bushes. Tazuna and Sakura jumped It looks like they just saw a ghost.  "Did you really believe him?" I asked."Hm, it was just a mouse." Sakura and the old man look pissed. "Mouse? Yea right everyone can see through your stupid act Naruto. It is so obvious it is embarrassing." Sakura said clearly being done with Naruto's shit.  "Naruto don't use kunai knives carelessly. They are dangerous." Kakashi scolded. "DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT YOU BRAT!!" "Hey is there someone hiding over there, no they are over there." He keeps swinging his head back and fourth looking for attackers. I sensed a presence earlier but it was in the village place thing so I didn't really think twice about it. "OVER THERE!" He throws another kunai. I am pretty sure someone is watching us. I start to look up in the trees and sasuke walks over to me. "What are you looking for?" I look at him. "Oh, nothing important." I respond I walk over to where Kakashi and Naruto were. Naruto was holding a white rabbit. "I AM SO SORRY LITTLE BUNNY I DID'T HURT YOU DID I?!" He starts screaming. Snow rabbit? It is in the middle of summer so it had to have been inside. It is someones replacement justu. I look at Kakashi and he was looking at me we both nod knowing what is about to happen. Just please don't tell me that he is after us. I start sweating and breathing unevenly. I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turn around and see Sasuke. "Oh, hey Sasuke I have a totally random question." "What is it?" How should I ask him this? "Uh, have you unlocked your sharingan and if yo-" He cut me off. "No I haven't yet or I have and have no memories what so ever." So this me and dad are going to have to deal with this. If it is him. I walk over to dad and look around. "LOOK OUT!" He yelled beside me. Zabuza's sword comes flying out from a tree and aims right for Mr. Tazuna. Show yourself bitch. I start watching his sword waiting for him to retrieve it. He lands on top of it and gives me and dad a death glare. I reach for my sword (It is on my back). "Stand down Y/N. And that is a order." Kakashi starts to take a couple steps to him. "Well, well it is Zabuza Momochi. Rogue ninja of the hidden mist." Naruto starts running at him and Dad puts his hand out to stop him. "You are in the way, get back. You too Y/N." "But why?" Naruto questions. "He is nothing like the other ninja we fought. He is in a hole another league." I told him. "If he is our opponent I am going to need this." He lifts up his headband and I activate my sharingan just to observe. Sasuke looks at us dumbfounded. "H-How do you have those eyes?"He asks 'he looks terrified. "Tell you later." I say (You still have your other eye covered because it isn't a sharingan you already have Uchiha blood remember) "Kakashi the copy ninja right? And you." He points at me. "You are the silver assassin. I remember when you went crazy and almost killed me but you got a lot of Gato's puppets I will give you that." I look him dead in the eye not amused. "I regret letting you get the rinnegan if I knew you had a stupid amount of chakra and killer instincts I wouldn't have let you have those eyes."

The next chapter will be about the "incident" in the hidden mist. Sorry this is short I will pick it up after the Y/N and Karuka arc thing. Also reread number 5 if you read it earlier than September 14th.
