Break through (Sasuke x Reader)

18 (Chunin Exams 5)

I woke up in a darkly lit hospital and looked around. It is almost daybreak. Why am I here? I remembered that I got the sealing jutsu preformed on me a couple days if not weeks ago. I got up walked over to the wardrobe and picked up my backpack and started shoving the extra clothes my dad got me. I opened up my door and stuck my head out to see if there was any one around. The cost is clear. I walked over to the room next to mine in search for Sasuke. I opened up the door and saw someone with needles stuck into their arm. Wrong room. I turned around and walked out. I walked to the room on the other side of my room and their he was. I walked to his wardrobe and grabbed a bag and started shoving his belongings in it. I closed the bag and threw it on his unconscious body. He woke up. "What the-" I cut him off. "Lets go." I said while opening up the window of the room. I started climbing out when I looked back he was still sitting on his bed staring at me. "I didn't stutter did I? No I didn't lets go." He got up throwing his backpack around his shoulder. I jumped out and put my backpack around my shoulders. He jumped out and asked. "Where do you think Kakashi is?" "I have an idea."

(time skip) We are on the mountain where Kakashi first taught me chidori. We looked off the side and saw Kakashi climbing it with one of his hands tied behind his back. When he got close enough to see us. "Hm?" "Whats up." Sasuke greeted. "So you both finally showed up." 

Me and dad tried teaching him in different ways. "You need to think of you chakra forming into a ball then using your lighting style to pop it so it disperses everywhere." I moved my hands more to hopefully to make it make sense. After awhile he got it down. We spent a week and a half up here. We learned that his max chidori per day limit is two before he needs the curse marks power. 

Sleeping in tents was very weird honestly. We made a makeshift campfire which was supper hard because there was like no wood around so I just made a small fire ball the whole time when dinner was cooking. I didn't train the whole time so that kinda bothered me to. However I know someone other than my dad that can preform lighting style jutsu so that will be fun trying to make new jutsu with him. He also mastered lee's taijutsu because he copied it his movements.

It seemed like everything was normal during the week then I felt a heavy and dark aura. "What is it?" Sasuke asked Kakashi who was staring at a rock. "It's so obvious if you release such a blood thirsty aura. Come on out." Kakashi said. Gaara the one tails jinjuriki came out from behind the bolder. "So it is you." I said. "Tell me what is your true purpose? Why do you seek power?" He asked Sasuke. "Like it is any business of yours. Beat it! You are interrupting my training." Sasuke replied. Gaara stood still before turning around. "I see...you have the same eyes as I do. Eyes that seek power, brimming with hate and murderous intent. You are like me. Never forget you are my prey." Gaara started walking away. "Hold on!" Sasuke shouted and Gaara turned back around. "Why me? Why are you so fixated on me?" Sasuke asked. "I see in your eyes. You know what loneliness is." Gaara responded. All three of us have been lonely? "You know the greatest suffering. Overflowing with hatred and murderous intent. The same as me. Eyes that seek revenge on who has made you lonely. It is all in your eyes." "Okay. Just a minute. So you are the one called Gaara. I don't know what you know about Sasuke, but it's not good for you to speak as though. What is it that you want to say to him before the final round? Go ahead and spit it out." Kakashi said. "Only the winner can actually feel the value of his own existence by killing the other." Gaara said. "You are not talking about a match. You are talking about some sort of grudge battle to the death." I stepped in. "Uchiha..You really should be wanting it, too. In the depths of your soul. You want to confirm the value of your existence. Am I really, truly powerful?  Is my existence more powerful than my opponent who faces me with eyes filled with intent to kill?" The stared at each other.

(Time skip) Me, Sasuke and Kakashi teleported into the middle of the stadium. Everyone was shocked. "Sorry we are late, you would not believe the traffic." Dad said. That was real smooth. "And you are?" Genma asked. "I am Sasuke Uchiha." He responded. The crowd cheered. "Huh, so you decided to show up after all?" Naruto said. "So what about you? Did you win?" "You know I did." Naruto responded. "Huh, well don't get too full of yourself. You are still a loser." "Good luck see ya later." I waved and teleported up behind lord hokage. 

"Sorry I am late." "Where have you been for these last couple of days?" He asked. "Places....Anyways you wanna get ramen after this I have really worked up an apatite." I said rubbing my stomach. "Yea. That sounds great." He said smiling. I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen. "Okay Gaara get down here!" Genma called. Naruto and Shikimaru start to head out of the stadium. Gaara starts walking down the stairs. It took him awhile but he made it out into the stadium. "The match goes on until one of you dies or admits defeat. However I can stop the match whenever I feel like it." Gaara starts laughing. Werido. "Both of you to the middle." Sasuke and Gaara start walking forward and stopped in front of each other. Genma took a pause creating suspense in the air. He lifted his hand up. "Begin." Then he brought it down. He jumped back while Sasuke and Gaara stood still. After a while Gaara moved his sand up above his head and Sasuke jumped back making some space in between them. Gaara held his eye and started trembling. "Weird." I whispered to myself. 

I see Gaaras mouth moving but couldn't hear him. Gaara's sand dropped from above his head to the ground. Gaara started to make a sand clone when Sasuke charged at him. Then Gaara threw a sand projectile at him which Sasuke dodged by jumping up in the air. When he got closer the the clone he kicked it's arms which detached from the clone. Sasuke shifted his weight and landed a punch on the clones lower neck. The sand forced his hand to stay attached to the clone so Sasuke hit the clones head and the sand dispersed everywhere. Sasuke ran towards Gaara on a head on attack and threw a punch which was blocked by sand. Sasuke quickly moved behind him and punched him square in the cheek. Nice hit. I was ecstatic while watching his fight and seeing how much he improved in just a month. Gaara went flying a couple feet behind him. Sasuke needs to cut his hair. Soon. Sasuke runs at Gaara and starts quickly moving around him. He got an opening and kicked Gaara and Gaara flew back but was cushioned the fall with his sand. After Gaara got up Sasuke ran at him again and started circling him. Gaara was lost he was spinning his head around trying to keep up with his speed. Sasuke found another opening got closed and kicked him then grabbed Gaara's straps and kneed him in the gut. 

Sasuke jumped back to make room between them. They had a stand off until Gaara made a hand sign and sand started forming a ball around him. When the ball formed Sasuke ran at him. Sasuke punched it and sand spikes shot out of the ball while still being attached. They all barely missed him but I could tell he was spooked. When he jumped back and got a better look at him his face was scratched and had a bead of blood rushing down his cheek. His hand that attacked the ball was also bloodied. How hard can that thing be? Sasuke took a minute and just stared at it. "KAKASHI SENSEI!" I heard Naruto in the distance. A sand ball started forming in the stadium. Which after turned into an eye. This jinkuriki has some interesting jutsu I will give him that. Sasuke runs at the sand ball and throws three kunai that were deflected. He jumped back and ran at it again this time he punched it but the spikes hit him. When he jumped back the spikes followed him. He tried to run closer but was stuck having to dodge the incoming spikes. He jumped up and landed on the spike to jump off and when his foot made contact more spikes came out of the ball. He jumped on the land and kept on jumping back until he got to the wall. He jumped up the wall until he was satisfied with the height.

He started weaving hand signs and pointed his palm to the ground while the other hand was holding his wrist. He started building up chakra for chidori and letting it disperse. He started running down the wall when he hit the floor a big puff of dirt flew into the air. Sasuke started running out of the debris. When he got close the spikes flew out but Sasuke dodged and hit the sand ball with the chidori. "That's Kakashi's jutsu." Hiruzen said. "Indeed it is." I replied. They stayed in that position for a while. Then out of no where there was a blood curtailing scream. "BLOOD!.....IT'S MY BLOOD!" Gaara yelled at the top of his lungs. Sasuke tried to pull his hand out of the ball but it wouldn't budge. He yanked his hand out while Gaara screamed again. Sasuke jumped back but there was this big claw looking thing. Sasuke knelt down and held his arm. The claw retreated into the sand ball. There was growling inside the ball. Something doesn't feel right. I look around to see nothing out of the ordinary. I heard a cracking noise and batted my eyes into the stadium again and the sand ball was cracking. The sand fell all around Gaara and his wound was now visible. It was in his shoulder which had to be painful. Gaara was holding it and had uneven breathing.  All of a sudden people start falling asleep in the crowd. This has to be a genjutsu. "Now...shall we begin." The kazekage said and the people behind him flew out of the stadium that we were in. They threw down a smoke bomb.
