The two of you laid under the covers, your head resting on Dabi's chest. The room was silent, but peaceful. Dabi looked down at you. "How are you feeling, princess? Your legs stop shaking yet?" You buried your face in his chest, flustered by his words. "Yeah. I'm just a little sore now." Dabi sat up slowly, letting you slide onto the pillows before getting up and putting on his boxers. "Come on, let's get you in the bath." Dabi handed you his shirt and you slipped it on. He helped you to the bedroom's connected bathroom and started filling the bath, using his quirk to warm the water faster. After it fills up halfway, he takes the shirt off you and helps you into the tub. "You relax while I clean up, ok? Just yell if you need me." You relax in the bath while Dabi cleans up the bedroom. Ten minutes go by before the sound of a car pulling up reaches your ears. You quickly drain the tub and wrap a towel around yourself before rushing to the bedroom and getting dressed. Dabi was mostly dressed, besides his shirt, and had just finished up cleaning the room. You turned to him, "They're back! You have to go!"

You tossed him his shirt, ushering him towards the window. "Hurry!" He put his shirt on, seemingly unbothered by your rushing. "Alright, alright." You open the window and Dabi steps out onto the roof. He turns to you, kissing you one more time as he slips a bracelet onto your wrist. "It makes you immune to certain quirks. I'll call you later, princess." Dabi jumps from the roof and disappears down the road. You lay on the bed and pretend to be on your phone as you hear footsteps coming up the stairs. The door opens a few minutes later to reveal Aizawa. "I'll be starting on dinner. Hitoshi is downstairs if you'd like to meet him." You tilted your head at the name. He had mentioned him before but you didn't know who he was. "Hitoshi?" Aizawa nodded. "My son. He's adopted like Eri." You sat up on the bed. "I'll be downstairs soon. Just give me a minute." A few minutes after he leaves, the burner phone buzzes with a text from Shoto.

'Be careful around Shinsou. His quirk is brainwashing, but he can only use it if you answer him verbally.'

You closed out the message and texted Dabi to make sure that he got back to base ok before heading downstairs. In the living room, a dark purple-haired boy sat on the sofa. Eri sat next to him, clipping bows and other clips into his hair. The boy, who she assumed was Shinso, turned to her. "I've heard a lot about you. You were taken by villains, right?" You went to reply, but paused when you noticed Aizawa glancing at the two of you every few seconds. Your mind began to fill with a few reasons as to why. 'He must've set this up. But I shouldn't let them know about the bracelet, so I'll just have to act like his quirk worked.' You finally replied. "Yeah. My..." You watched in silence as Shinso made a motion with his hand. You relaxed your body and unfocused your eyes, making it look like his quirk worked. Shinso spoke. "Tell me about what happened with the league."

**Note: I am aware that Shinso's quirk does not work in that exact way, but here, it does**

You mumbled out a coherently believable lie. "They took me after my husband gave me to them. I found Eri and Shoto saved us." You could hear Aizawa shuffling around in the kitchen. "Shinso, ask her about her 'husband'." Shinso nodded, his gaze returning to yours. "Tell me about your husband." You came out with another lie. "He was perfect when we met. Then, he changed. He wasn't who I thought he was. He's a villain." There was silence, then sizzling as Aizawa placed a pan on the stove. "Alright, that's enough for now." Shinso did the same hand motion as before and you slowly blinked, as if processing what just happened. "Huh...?" Shinso took Eri upstairs, leaving the two of you to sit in the silence. Aizawa broke the awkward silence by sitting a dish on the table. "I'm making (favorite food) for you. Do you want to help? You loved cooking when you were younger." Your expression fell, your lips freezing in a deep frown. "I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but it's not going to happen."

Aizawaturned the stove's heat to low before turning to you. "I want things to be likebefore. I want to be your father, your hero again." You scoffed at hisstatement. "Not a chance. You may be a hero, but you can't save someone whodoesn't want to be saved." Aizawa ran a hand through his hair, a slight look ofannoyance on his face. "I'm not trying to save you. I'm trying to be yourfather." You hesitated to respond, but you gathered your thoughts and replied."...Prove it. I might believe you then." Aizawa slightly smirked at your words."Alright. We'll go to our old training grounds tomorrow. Bright and early. We'll spar like we used to." You stood from your spot on the sofa, "Fine. Don'tbe surprised when I beat you." Aizawa rolled his eyes and turned back to thefood. "We'll see about that."
