A/N: just found this ship and thought is was cute. Pls note that in this, bakugo is hard of hearing. He's not deaf because this is still their first year and I imagine he'd be mostly deaf in his third year.

Jirou's pov.

I strum my electric guitar and hum. But before I could even start a tune someone knocked on the door. "Who is it?!" I called out. "Open the god damn door" a familiar voice calls from the other side. "Come in bakugo" I tell him whilst writing down some lyrics in a notebook. "The fucking teacher made me bring this because your dumbass skipped class. Where were you anyway?" He grunts annoyed, throwing a packet of homework on my desk.

"I was uh, sick" I desperately tried to find an excuse.

B: D'ya think I'm stupid or something?! What the he'll is going on?

J: No thats not it at all. It's just... it's personal.

Bakugos sits at the and of my bed and huffs. "Fine" I look at him weirdly "what?" Looking at me as if I have two heads, he shouts "I mean tell me god damnit. You idiots follow me around so I assume I'm your friend right?" I look at him a but shocked. 'If only you knew that I wanted more than that' I think to myself.

Softly smiling at him, I look back down at my twiddling thumbs. "So umm, I haven't told anyone yet, but I'm trans. Well technically I'm a demigirl but still." He stays silent for a moment. "Ok" he leans back on his arms. "Ok?" I question his words. "Yeah, whaddya expect? I'm not that much of an asshole, your a chick in a dudes body. So what?"

My nose starts to burn as I feel tears prick my eyes. "What the hell are you crying for?!" He screams. Not being able to answer, I wipe the tears off my face only for more to stream down. I look down at my now makeup smeared hands and chuckle.

"Ugh, your such a baby" He groans. I look up to snap back but his arms are open. I stare in confusion. "Well do you want a hug or not?" He raises and eyebrow. Giggling, I scoot towards him and accept the hug.

'His body is so warm. It's probably from his quirk but it's nice. Huh, he smells like burnt sugar... it's, oddly comforting.' He rubs circles on my back and I reluctantly give him one last squeeze before pulling away. "Thanks bakugo" "after this shit? Nuh uh, your calling me my first name." My ears heat up and I'm sure my face is crimson. I stare into his eyes and nod. "You have pretty eyes" I tell him quietly. "You say something?" He asks. I nod "I said you have pretty eyes" I speak louder this time. His eyes widen slightly and he looks away.

"Don't change the subject " He mumbles. "Aww is little katsuki shyyy" I tease, my tears now dried. He put his palm on my face and shoves my head back "sh-shut up extra!"

"Yeah yeah ok" I sigh with a smile and grab his hand to pull it off my face. "I stayed back today because disphoria hit real hard today. I mean look at this" I lift my baggy sweater and show my torso. "I'm flat! Real girls have tits." His smile dropped and he looks at me. He then uses his free hand to yank down my top and slap me across the face. Not hard enough to seriously hurt but still. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you fucking stupid? You are a real woman you dumbass. And I personally don't enjoy being flashed." I hold my cheek and once more my face holds a shocked expression.

"Katsuki." I stare at him for a moment before he opens his mouth to speak, hesitating a moment. "Kyok-" "my real name is-" "shut the fuck up and stop gaslighting yourself for a second." I laugh at that. "Now" He pauses "kyoka, will you go on a date with me?"

My face flushes with red and I put my hands over my face. "Nevermind, forget it." He gets up and grabs his blazer off the back of a chair. I slam my hands down on the bed and lean forwards. "Get back here you idiot!" He turns around annoyed but a bit of hope was in his face. "Yes, I'll go on a date with you. I just never expected you to like me. Especially after I just said I'm a dude. Are you gay?" He groans loudly and drags his hand down his face.
