Chapter 2 : Cuddles

No One's POV:

   After about 20 minutes of walking, Kaeya and Albedo reach their destination. Kaeya unlocks the door and the two step inside. Albedo felt a warm breeze brush over his body and he sighed in relief, it's not everyday you have total warmth. Sure, Mondstatt is usually a warm place, but since winter was coming close it was starting to feel as cold as Dragonspine. Dragonspine itself was cold during the summer, but when it's winter... it almost feels deadly how cold it is!

Kaeya told Albedo to go rest on the chair by the fireplace while he made some food. Albedo sat staring at the burning flames, admiring the way they shined.

"Hey Albedo!" Kaeya said walking in, "you want something to eat?" Albedo stared at the taller guy, he looked ridiculous wearing the kiss the chef apron!

Albedo looked down and laughed a bit, "Haha, yea.. sure." Kaeya's never really seen Albedo laugh before, at least genuinely laugh. His face grew warm as he saw how happy and adorable Albedo was.

Kaeya's POV:

'He truly is as charming as they say..' I thought to myself some, 'sometimes.. I wonder, how does he feel about me?' I pondered. In truth, I've always had a small crush on Albedo, though it's hard to admit to it. He's a good friend of the knights, to ruin such a friendship by confessing.. it's truthfully scary. Ah, I shouldn't let thoughts like these get to me, tonight is the night I can get to know him better! I should make the most of it.

I walked over to a small radio traveler had found, it's quite interesting to be truthful. I played a tune that most people from Mond have heard. As Albedo went to turn to see whats happening, I had reached my hand out to him.

Albedo's POV:

"May I have this dance, my prince?" Kaeya said affectionately, I just stared in awe. Kaeya, calvary captian of the knights of Favonious.. requesting a dance with me? I'll never understand him, but then again.. who am I to deny a dance? I reached out my hand and smiled,

"Of course." I stood up, my hand still placed in his. My heart.. it felt different, as if this was meant to be, as if me and him were supposed to be here by each others side at this very moment. I smiled, it felt..calming.

No one's POV:

As the two danced to the song, they were silent. It wasn't an awkward silence, but a soft..gentle silence, they both felt at ease. After a moment, they looked at eachother, locking gazes. Albedo was about to say something, til they got cut off...

By the stoves alarm. Kaeya had totally forgotten about their food!
