Chapter 3 - Realization

No one's POV:

    "Oh shit oh shit-" Kaeya frantically murmured, trying to cool off the food he had been baking. It didn't smell bad, infact it smelt better, but the smoke could've said otherwise. Kaeya turned to Albedo, sighing..

    "Could you hand me the oven mits, I'm gonna see if the pie is still saveable.." Albedo nodded in response, finding it kind of adorable how he wanted to do his best to save the pie that he made for the smaller guy. Walking over to a counter, he grabbed the oven mits. They had a really cool crystal look to them, almost like glass. Albedo sat for a moment to admire them, then turned to give them to Kaeya. While Albedo was about to hand them to the taller one, he accidentally grazed Kaeya's hand with his own. For a calvary captain, his hands are truthfully really soft.. wait, what was Albedo thinking?! Surely he didn't have a crush on Kaeya.. did he? The more he thought about it, the more he realized that perhaps..perhaps he's fallen for the handsome guy.

   Albedo ended up getting lost in thought, and didn't realize that he had been holding Kaeya's hand the entire time.

      "Ah- Albedo your..u-uh.. haha-" Kaeya did his best to tell the small blonde, but in that moment he was all too flustered to say almost anything. He's liked Albedo for so long.. was this the moment that he finds out Albedo liked him too? His heart was racing, his face got heated up and he wasn't sure what Albedo was doing. He ended up sitting there for a moment, waiting for the blonde to realize.

Albedo's POV:

    His hands are so..soft, his eyes, they glow like a crystal... and his hair, his hair is so smooth... and his che- I was cut off from thought as I heard Kaeya's voice, his voice is as smooth as people say... wait, what was it he was saying? I looked up at him and saw his face flushed a deep shade of red, I was confused until I looked down..

    "O-oh I'm sorry, I hadn't realized.. here's your oven mits." I handed them over, feeling my face heat up as well. I'm somewhat upset that I wasn't able to hold his hands anymore... I felt comforted. Maybe.. I should confess.
