Boat rides and Job Opportunities

"20 bucks says he belly flops?" Addie turned to Ki holding out her hand, "alright I'll take that action" Ki reached out her hand to shake Addie's before turning back to Pope who was about to jump off the boat.

"Cmon Pope just jump instead then" Jj rolled his eyes taking a large gulp from his beer can,
"No you don't think I can dive off the boat and imma prove all you guys wrong" he pointed to each an everyone one of them, then turning himself back to the boats edge, taking a deep breath and then a leap of faith.

The scholarship kid landed with a large slap on the water which was sure to leave a mark. The blonde Pogue broke down laughing and received a slap to the back of the head as John B made his way to peer over the side to check if Pope was ok.

"I'll take my 20 bucks in cash thank you" Addie smiled at Ki before making her way to the boats edge to stand next to John B. "You ok Pope?" She leaned her head over unable to hide her huge grin whilst staring down at the boy in the water.

"That's gunna leave a mark mate" Jj continued to laugh earning himself a second slap to the back of the head, this time from Addie. She tuned her attention back to Pope and JB extending her hand down to Popes. The two of them pulled him up before handing him a towel.

Everyone stood there staring at Pope, all their eyes drifting to the large red mark on his stomach before all four of them broke down laughing at the boys poor attempt of a dive into the water,
"Alright ok, laugh it up" Pope rolled his eyes sitting down on the boats bench.

"Oh Pope, don't look so sad, how about I get you some diving lessons down at the club" she raised her eyebrows, the smirk on her lips lingering.
"You might be diving with a bunch of 8 year olds but still fun right?" Pope looked up to her before pulling her into him and getting her soaking wet.
She tried to speak but the laughing meant she could barely get any words out "Pope.. Pope, I've got work, st.. stop." She pushed herself off of him both of them giggling like little kids.

"Speaking of which, we've gotta get you back" JB turned to the boats steering and started up the engine navigating their way back to the Chateau, still joining in on the others conversation.

"I'll stop by later with some food or something" Adelaide said climbing into the blue mustang, with a smile on her face.

"Alright I'll see you then, also this is for you" Ki reached into her back pocket pulling out the 20 dollars from earlier.

"Thank you" Adelaide took it shoving it into her jacket, Pope looking at the two of them confused.
"What was that for" his eyebrows furrowed, looking between the girls who couldn't help but laugh, Adelaide drove off, her wheels pushing against the dirt and dust underneath them, leaving Ki to either explain or not explain the money exchange to the rest of the guys.

Adelaide pulled up to the new estate house on the figure 8 side of the island with her camera and files ready. She climbed out the car, her hand covering her eyes from the sun so she could get a better look at the house. The houses exterior had been completed, but none of the exterior nor interior had been designed or finished. And that was her job.

Before she could even reach the inside of the house Rose had come outside to greet her. "Hello hun" she pulled Addie into a big hug giving her a kiss on the cheek, "Heya Rose, you doing alright" she left a kiss on Roses cheek in return.

"I'm doing great actually because I have some very important news" Rose's smile was scary but also sweet. Addies eyebrows scrunched as if signalling for Rose to carry on and she did.
"If this goes right and we get it designed on the market and bought in the next month, this" she signalled to the rest of the street where they were building almost identical houses, "will all be ours" the blonde haired girls jaw dropped,
