Kabanata 8

Review

Tristan did really act the way he want me to do. He ignored me all the time, in corridors, at cafeteria, all the time when we see each other. I assumed that I really hit a hard rock with the decision I make last time.

I want to conclude that I was just impulsive that time.

But my worry brought him wrong interpretation.

I spent time on making the assessment the two of us suppose to be doing.

I do it in purpose too. I just really felt bad and my mind keep telling me to apologize until he accept it. I know he's misbehave and won't really do what I want as easy as that. But I'll take it as a consequence.

Dylan approached me as soon as he saw me.

May sasabihin kasi ako.”

“Ah... Nandiyan iyon sa huli kanina...” Dylan smiled.

His intense gaze follow my steps towards him. He looks darker than he could ever be. Sinadya kong ipakita iyon upang may dahilan man lang ako.

“Didn't I tell you?” malalim ang kaniyang boses at galit.

“Oh, I thought you're top student?”

When I look at him, his eyes are darker.

“Tristan, look, I don't want a fight—”

“Then, get out of my way,” he said in annoyance.

Hindi ako gumalaw. Tumalim ang kaniyang titig at nilagpasan ako. I sighed and run to him again. I only wanted to say sorry but I couldn't keep my patience because of his words. God knows I'm doing my best.

He stopped. He creased his brows as his eyes went down to my hand on his arm.

“Tristan, alam kong na-offend kita noon pa at siguro noong isang araw. But I'm willing to say sorry for that. I'm guilty and bothered—”

“Stay guilty and bothered than using other bullshits just to talk to me,” he mockingly said, glaring at the papers in my hand.
