"I am not wearing that ugly ass uniform!" I argued.
"Keiko, it's mandatory." My father sighed. "C'mon kiddo. It's not even that bad." He tried to reason with me but I simply refused to wear that thing.
"Ok first of all. That's a skirt. No fucking way! And second of all I don't do uniforms in general. Be thankful I'm even going." I growled.
Dads shoulders slumped in defeated and he waved his hand as if to say 'fine whatever' and then he left my room, closing the door behind him. Today's my first day at UA, as in I'm an actual student now. Instead of the UA uniform I put on some black skinny jeans that had two holes in both knees, and an oversized black hoodie with a white design printed across the chest. I chucked on some white and black shoes to finish it off and tied my hair into a loose low pony.
Once my look was completed I grabbed my new board and made my way downstairs. Dad had on his usual attire, from the scarf to the plain matching black top and bottoms. I sighed "dude your so boring, why don't you try wearing something other than" I gestured to his outfit "that?".
Dad slowly looked down at his clothes and then back up at me "What's wrong with my hero costume..?" He sounded offended. I rolled my eyes "You've been wearing that same shit since I was little."
"It's not like I wear the exact same clothes. I have other ones exactly like this." He defended. "That's not what I meant dad." I scoffed and dropped the subject.
I grabbed some cat food and squeezed it into inferno's bowl before filling the other side up with fresh water. Meanwhile dad had already grabbed his keys and was heading towards the door. "You ready to go kiddo?" He asked while slipping his shoes on and opening the front door.
I hummed in response and ran after him, grabbing my bag in the process. I had everything. My skateboard in my left hand while my bag hung off my right shoulder. I'd made sure to pack my money just Incase and I had a couple other things too. My dad doesn't know but I carry a gun around with me. Someone like me needs to be armed at all times, doesn't matter if I have a quirk or not. If I used my quirk people could research and find out who I am.
The only reason I showed Dabi that time was because I knew he didn't have anything to do with the authorities. I trust him now, sort of. But anyway, I had food too. Knowing me, the cafeteria food wouldn't be enough.
Dad drove to school and we sat in a comfortable silence until he decided to break it. "Please don't get into any fights today."
I gave him a puzzled look "Well that was random."
"Sorry but there's one kid I want you to stay away from. Knowing you both, your attitudes won't match." He informed.
"Who?" I asked
