11~ Bruises

The fight felt like it was going on forever, it was never ending and I was beginning to get fatigued.

My head was pounding from overusing my erasure quirk and I was beginning to overheat from using my fire. I tried to use it in small bursts like I always do but there was simply too many and three of them had water quirks and kept hiding at the back of the crowd.

I was losing focus as more and more of them came at me. There wasn't even any openings for me to escape.

I took too long looking for any openings because I was suddenly knocked on my ass.

My head hit the ground hard, and I forgot why I was even here for a second, but then as I looked up I saw four silhoettes atop a building looking down at me. 'Dabi.' This was all his fault.

I got angrier and angreir just thinking of that bastard and what he led me to tonight.

My breathing was heavy as I stood back up, my entire body started heating up as I looked in Dabi and Shigarakis direction.

With a pained cry I pushed myself to create the highest temperature I could, bright white flames extended from my entire body, burning everything in a 200 metre radius to ash. The light from my flames was so blinding it lit up the street like it was daytime.

My flames died down as I sunk to my knees, my boots had melted off, so had half of my clothes, there was steam coming off of every part of my body and I was absolutely exhausted, all I wanted to do was go home.

Once I caught my breath, I went to walk to my car, only to realise it was just a pool of metal, along with every other car here.

'Shit. My precious car..'

I felt like crying, I just got that fucking car and now I have no way home.

I groaned and looked back up to where Dabi was, but they'd all disappeared.

I groaned again as I used the last of my energy to do something I haven't done in a while. I hunched forward as great black wings sprouted from my shoulder blades, ripping through what what left of my leather jacket and spreading out wide.

I felt my forehead and sure enough, there were horns there too. I bit my lip from the pain of the transformation, drawing blood from the sharpness of my teeth.

A demonic growl left me as my wings pushed downwards powerfully lifting me off the ground and into the sky in seconds.

A shining of light reached my face as the sun began to rise. I wanted to scream.

With the speed of my wings I made it home in no time. I changed back to my normal appearance and stumbled through the window. I'd melted my keys and phone.

Once I was inside I collapsed, completely forgetting the boys were still here.

A light was flicked on and shocked gasps came from the boys.

"Keiko! What the hell happened!?" I think Kaminari asked.

I groaned in pain as someone lifted me of the ground by my armpits and sat me on the lounge.

"She's overheating. Todoroki, cover her body in a thin sheet of ice. Hopefully it will cool her down." Sero said.

I felt cold for a second, but then the ice started evaporating.

"Shit! She's burning the lounge. Todoroki just freeze her body completely, not her head though." Kaminari yelled.

"With you idiots shut up!? I'm trying to sle- WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?" Katsuki screamed as I heard his footsteps opproach me quickly.

He put his hand to my head and immediately withdrew it. "FUCK! She's boiling! Icyhot, freeze her or she'll start burning herself from the inside out."

I felt the ice incase me and I sighed in relief, it felt amazing on my burns and bruises. I opened my eyes as the ice started to evaporate slowly.

"Hey guys.." I chuckled.

Katsuki had his arms crossed with an angered expression, Todoroki had the slightest hint of worry on his normally emotionless face and Kami and Sero were almost in tears.

"What the hell happened, Keiko." It wasn't a question, it was a demand. Katsuki was scarily calm and he even used my name, which was rare.

So I told them, how I'd gone to a car meet that I was invited to by an older friend and how his 'friend' tried to strike a deal with me but it turned sour and I had to fight off 200 men. leaving out the league of villains and the killing part.

"If you tell my dad, I'll kill you." I coughed up some blood. I'm not worried about my injuries, they'll heal within the next 24 hours anyway, even the internal ones. Best part about being part demon, accelerated healing and immortality.

"I won't tell your stupid dad, but we're not going to school today." Katsuki decided. I was completely fine with that but I didn't want them to miss school because of me.

"No, you guys go, I'll be fine here." I tried to reason. Katsuki shot me a glare that told me there was no room for arguments. I sighed, "Alright, I'll just tell dad that we all got food poisoning from the food we ate last night and that we're all really sick and can't come to school today."

"I'll call Kiri!" Kaminari exclaimed before doing as he said and calling Kirishima.

Half an hour later Kirishima showed up and started freaking out as soon as he saw the large gash on my head and the burns and bruises littering my body. "Oh my god! Keiko what happened!?" He rushed over to me and started waving his arms around so I told him the exact same thing I told the others.

"So what was the deal about?" Kirishima asked.

Ugh why'd he have to ask that? Now I've got to come up with something else I'll have to remember.

"He wanted me to work for him, see I didn't know my friend was in a gang and he'd obviously told his boss about me, and his boss seemed interested enough to want to meet up. I got stitched up as soon as I got there." I explained. My body was starting to feel better, it was just a dull ache now so I got up to get a drink from the kitchen.

"Oh okay. Jeez you seem to be involved with some bad people, like no offence but-"

"Okay saying 'no offence' doesn't make me not take offence, like what's about to come out of your mouth is clearly going to be offensive." I pointed out with a smirk.

"As I was saying, you got arrested and escorted by the police when we first met you, you were at a skate shop, you have tons of money, you do illegal street races and now you've fought a whole gang by yourself, and won?? Like, who are you?"
Kaminari voiced, amazed and a little freaked out.

I took a sip of my drink and sat down by todoroki. "It doesn't matter who I am, I don't have to be a bad person to do these things, I do them to survive."
