What just happened? I'm confused. You left here. Why? I feel nothing but pain and anger. It all doesn't add up. The good times we had together. The happiness we had. We were so close and we told each other everything. Every little problem and every big problem. The time, the effort, the money, the hate I had to go through. Gone. All gone. That moment, that decision you made. You should of talked to me, why didn't you talk to me? We would of worked this out. But no. You didn't. This might just be a ripple in the sea, but all ripples cause Tsunamis.
I was left on the bench outside. Crying, angry, frustrated, I didn't know what to do. Shall I try and talk to someone or shall I do nothing and let depression catch up with me? Then, a stranger. Out of nowhere, sat down next to me. Asked if everything was ok. I never thought it would be you. I never thought you'll be there for me. It was her. The ex girlfriend. I explained what happened with my life long best friend. She felt sorry for me, extremely sorry. She broke down half way through the story. She put her cold head on my shoulder, her hair blowing in my face. And then. All the memories came back. I felt the heartbreak, the heartbreak I got when I got dumped by her a few months ago. I stood up and walked away, and left her. For good.
When I was walking away, I can only feel my heartbreak even more. All the memories were back in my head. I tried so hard to get them out. But the flooded back in like a dam being blown up.
The summer. The summer of 2014. The hours spent on the sofa. The hours watching out favourite tv shows and movies together. She used to put her head on my chest and cuddle till she had to go. I thought I was in love, I thought she was too. We used to glare into each others eyes, you can see the love in her eyes and you saw mine. But then, when I walked into the distance. I realised, you're eyes were a mirror. You reflected what I projected. I was too drunk in love to realise.
