I wanted to move on and get along with my life and find someone new, but I couldn't. My heart was ripped to shreds and thrown everywhere, and I had to pick them up by myself, she could always help. It can only be fixed by her. I keep on getting flashbacks of us together on the sofa and cuddling. We were all so happy together. Our relationship was so perfect, I thought it was a dream most of the time. I loved her, and I still do. I would do anything to get back with her. But she doesn't want me, I know she doesn't, I can tell by the way she dumped me. But, there's no hurt in trying right? So I've decided, to walk back. I walked away from the sunset and into my own shadow.
The sun was glistening behind me when she saw me walking back to her. As I got closer and closer. I got more nervous by the step. But before I knew it, I was there, in front of her. I looked into her eyes, I saw the joy in her eyes of me walking back. I sat back down next to her. She spoke to me, she said,
"Why are you still here? You told me there was no chance of us together again." I replied,
"I couldn't stand being away from you anymore, I miss us, I miss the times together. I want us to be together again and us to be happy."
She didn't reply, she was ignoring me for a minute. I knew I had no chance with her anymore. We were just sitting there, being awkward and saying nothing, not looking at each other or anything. She then pulled out her phone, that gave me an idea. I then got out my phone and went onto music, I thought if I play our song, she might realise how much I miss her.I've kept this song for months in case a situation like this ever came up again. So I slowly placed the phone next to her and pressed play, she looked at me with amazement and shock. Our favourite part played,
"I wish I can wake up with amnesia, and forget about this stupid little thing."
She was still looking at me with amazement. I saw a tear drip down her face. At that moment she paused the song, gave me back the phone, and started to lean on my chest again. I whispered to her,
"I'm so sorry for what happened, please give me one more change." She replied softly,
"Yes I do."
