Walking along the side-walk, he just looked up at the sky as he heard the neighborhood ladies whispering against him.

The same thing again... It had been so for the last ten years. He knows something is just not right within him. But how should he label himself, that he did not know. He did not know how to find that out. He was all alone in this fight for his identity which everyone had failed to certify.

' Jungkook..! You forgot your lunch..' called out his mother, someway from their front door.

He turned around and smiled at the adorable old lady, taking the lunch box from her hands. ' Thank you Mom...'-

She had called him out so many times , but he could not listen because of the headphones in his ears. They were necessary, whenever he was away.. away from home, away from his mom, the only person in this world who seemed like a warm existence... The world had pushed him away , they did not even consider how he was just a child when they found out that he was not like them.

That was just so 'THEM'. Just because he was not like the others, they left him out to freeze as the world turned all its coldness towards the helpless little boy. All he did was to not cry at his first day at school and not smile warmly when the homecoming ceremony was celebrated.

Yes, he did not know how to feel. He had a medical condition called Alexithymia which had a widespread belief of being incurable.  Emotion was an unknown substance to him. He did not know what love was, how it felt when his heart got broken , how it felt to be precious.

He smiled, but he did not know why he did so.. he felt as if he was acting , as if he wore a mask, which if he did not put on... He would be judged; judged for not being like the others... Judged because he dared to be himself where everyone in this world was supposed to be like every significant other.

The psychology department was a like the school to him. Every new consultant had a record of his visit, he tried recommended medications and like this ten whole years have passed. He had grown up too. He was an English PhD student at the University and that's where he had heard of her.

At this point in life, all he wanted to feel like a human. He was an excellent student, a bright approachable personality but everyone knew that side of his.. the side where his every qualification amounted to nothing.. the side which was monstrosity to the society. He was hungry; hungry to feel something... to feel something as it was supposed to be , not confuse butterflies in his stomach as hunger pangs.

He had to go to her. She was the only one left out to cure him. He knew if he tries to reach her, she would hold his hand and maybe even pull him up to the surface, the shore which he so long had waited for...

He just knew...
