The low rumbling of the train lulled Shoto to sleep. He could barely believe what a day he had. This morning he woke up for what he believed to be another day of hell, only to leave during the night and start a new life. Touya was standing next to him looking out the window at the night sky. He let his head drop on his brother's shoulder and fell asleep. For the first time in a long time, Shouto was happy....
The two siblings arrived in Musutafu at 5am. They got out of the train and exited the station. The november air hit them in the face and Touya shuddered. The fake ID guy said to meet them at Dagobah Beach at 6:00. It was a bit of a walk from the train station to the beach so he and Shouto started walking. They stopped at a non-stop gas station and got some water bottles before continuing on their way. They arrived at 5:49am so they loitered around the trash until their dealer arrives. At 6:00 am sharp they heard something that sounded suspiciously much like a hatch opening. They looked around and saw a girl with long flowy red hair dressed in a baggy barf green shirt, sweatpants and flip flops exit a large overthrown bus.
"Are you dumpsterfire999?" asked the girl once she saw them.
"Yes..." answered Touya.
"Good, come with me. My friend is downstairs with the paperwork."
"Alright then...But I also want another fake identity for my brother. I know we agreed on only one, but I'm willing to pay double-"
"Calm down Mr. Todoroki, we can get you an extra no problem. We're not doing this for the money."
"Call me Touya." said the older sibling as he followed down the stairs to the hideout. "And what do you mean you aren't doing this for the money?"
"Well my friend only does fake identities for special cases, abused children, women or men that are thrown into quirk marriages, mostly people that are desperate, the ones that the system failed. The fact that Endeavour is your dad and he gets to fuck with him is just a bonus to him."
"He hates our father?" asked Shouto genuinely surprised.
"Yep." answered the girl. She led them down multiple corridors, through what had to be dozens of rooms while taking turns every once in a while. "Don't know why though."
"You seem awfully trusting to be telling us all of this, aren't you scared we'll rat you out?" said Touya.
"Nope! We go by the principle of M.A.D. Mutually Assured Destruction. We know shit on you, you know shit on us, so if any of us blabbers we can fire back with our own dirt∼"
"Huh...Pretty effective strategy."
Eventually they reached a wide corridor with 14 identical rooms and the redhead knocked on a door with the initials I. M. - Workshop, after she got an answer she ushered the brothers in. The room they entered was pretty big, with what looked like blast protected floors and walls. It housed several inventions, a huge metal cabinet, several shelves with spare parts and 3 metal desks with several tools. The only thing that looked out of place was a wooden desk in the corner with several papers on it. At the wooden desk was a short boy with green hair that looked about Shouto's age.
"Hey Zu, your newest clients are here." said the redhead.
The boy turned around and smiled at them. "Hello, hello dear travelers, welcome to my humble abode." he got up and offered his hand that Touya shook. "My name is Izuku and I'm guessing you're Touya and Shouto. Correct?"
"Yeah...your friend told me you'd be willing to make us a fake identity for my brother despite the fact that I didn't tell you about the change." said Touya.
"Yup." said Izuku without skipping a beat. "How about you and me go over the paperwork while your brother goes with Mel-Mel here and gets his hair dyed."
"Uh...sure." said Touya a bit confused by the willingness of this guy. "Make it black, ok kid?"
"Alright." and then "Mel-Mel" drags him to another room where he can dye his hair.
"So..." says Touya lamely.
"Come here, I have most of the paperwork for you done. I just need to get started on your brother's." said Izuku. "You said you want your new name to be Dabi, any idea what your brother wants?"
"He said something along the lines of Tousho, though he was pretty sleepy when he said it. Does it work?"
"Perfectly even. Your new name is Dabi Uwami, your mother was an escort and fell pregnant with you. She had a fire quirk, no father listed. A few years later she had your brother, same thing happened, she ended up dying when you were 16 and you have been caring for your brother since. Does that work for you?"
"Uhh, yeah. What was her name, in case I get asked?"
"Akane. Your brother has the exact backstory, still no listed father."
"Great anything else I need to do?"
"Nope, but I'd really appreciate it if you'd let me take you and your brother to an underground doctor. You look like you need it."
Touya frowned. "I'm fine I don't need a doctor. Just take the money."
"Actually I wasn't planning to charge you, so-"
"Wait, really?"
"Yup! I'm only doing this because I want to help people. Heroes don't charge their victims for saving them and neither am I."
"...Not all heroes are doing it out of the good of their heart."
"Yeah, I know, but it's always been my dream. And since the system failed me, I plan to do it a different way." and then he smiled brightly.
"Failed you?"
"Quirkless people don't exactly get treated nicely, but that's not the point. The point is, you need immediate medical help that won't rat you out to the authorities and I can give you that. Please let me help you."
Touya gulped before nodding. "Alright, but you better not make me regret this."
Izuku smiled. "I won't." The two of them walked out of the workshop and took a multitude of twists and turns before entering a sterile looking room. Inside was his brother who seemed to have been treated already, the redhead and an older lady with white snakes for hair.
"Hello Ms. Haruko, I got you another patient." said Izuku.
"I can see that dearie, hello young man. My name is Sentina Haruko. I am a nurse and my quirk is called Healing Fangs. If you let one of my snakes bite you, it will heal all of your wounds. Is that ok with you?" said the woman.
"Uh, sure." he showed her his wrist and one of the snakes in her hair bit it. Slowly he felt the burns on his back heal and he could suddenly breathe easier. He stopped her mid session to get his stitches pulled out before letting her continue. At the end he felt a lot better and thanked the woman kindly.
"Oh it was nothing dearie, Zuku helped me and the least I can do is help him and his friends. But alas, it's time for me to head back to my underground clinic. It was nice seeing you kids."
"It's good seeing you too, Ms. Haruko." said Izuku before "Mel-Mel" followed the elder nurse out of the door. "Alright now let's start dyeing your hair."
After they finished dyeing their hair, Shouto and Touya crashed into one of the guest rooms, with the promise that they'll leave in a few days.
