"Get your ass up," Nina says, throwing one of her pillows at you.

You grunt. "No."

"Yes, let's go to dinner."

"No. I don't feel well."

"You still have to eat."

"If I just puke it up it won't do much for me anyway."

"Fine. I'm going to get some food, I'll see you later." Nina leaves the room again and you roll back over, facing the wall and reclose your eyes.

You've been in bed all day since after shooting practice. The melatonin really worked its magic.

You're not even sure why the situation is affecting you so much. Maybe because he's your professor and you'll have to see him again, or maybe because Nina was right. You have a crush on him. But now that's ruined because he's an asshole who made you leave after... you still can't admit what actually happened. You're done with whatever weird little feelings you had for him, they're being pushed way down into a box then kicked off a cliff.

Sunset rolls around shortly, an orange glow shining through the window, seeming to blind you. You pull the covers over your face again.

Nina returns about an hour after she left for dinner. She brought you back a bagel.

You sit up, legs criss crossed in front of you. "Thank you," you say softly and eat the bagel.

"Are you okay?"

You give them a soft nod. "I just, yeah, don't feel great."

"Okay..." they sigh softly.

The notes are in my black notebook if you want to copy.

"Thank you, you're a life saver."

"I am aren't I?" Nina beams.

You chuckle, rolling your eyes softly as you get her notebook out of their bag. You copy the notes into your purple and blue watercolor notebook from Target that you thought was pretty.

Once you're done with that, you lay back down in bed and watch Netflix. You fall back asleep after about six episodes.

You wake up the next morning for workouts, still feeling sick about the entire Dr. Reid situation. You get changed in a black t shirt (good for hiding sweat) and grey running shorts.

"Are you sure you're okay to train today?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I have to go anyway, or they'll think I'm a wuss."

Nina shrugs.

You lace up your tennis shoes and head out with Nina.

The running sucks, but at least you can focus on the sting in your side instead of the fact that your professor pissed you off.

You finish the two mile run, cooling yourself off with some water before you guys have to do timed sprints.

You channel your anger into motivation to run as fast and hard as you can. You finish in third in your group, and fourth the second sprint.

"Oh my God, I'm dying," Nina says as they come up to you, pouring water on yourself.

"Yeah me too," you try to slow your breathing.

"You were like super fast, homegirl."

"I'm honestly not sure how I did that."

She laughs and you all finish up.

_____
"You go ahead without me," you say to your friend as you're headed to Profiling 101, "I'm going to head to the restroom."

"Oh okay," Nina says and disappears inside the classroom.

You hesitate, thinking about what you're about to do for a moment. You turn on your heels and head back to the dorms, not wanting to see him.

A part of you feels like you're overreacting, but what kind of man kicks you out after a moment like that? You thought he was different.

598 okay i'm stopping this here because it sucks and i've had no motivation at all
