I would like to formally apologize for such a long break in between chapters. I really did not mean for it to be months long. School, mental, illness, and college classes have been taking up my time, and I've just had no motivation to write in this story. Thank you for the patience and the continuing to read my other stories as well. love you guys!

The morning consists of coffee, studying, and playing a random life simulation game on your phone to distract yourself.

Around 11, you take a shower and get dressed for Spencer's place. You pull on a lavender sweater and ripped straight legged jeans paired with the usual converse before heading out to meet your professor.

"So what's the plan, Doc?" You ask as he lets you into his apartment after you give the door a little knock.

"First, we eat and drink so you can chill out. Then maybe watch a movie or something?" Reid says with a soft grin.

"Did you just say 'chill out' to me Dr. Reid? You're literally an antonym for 'chill out.'"

"I'm going to pretend you didn't just insult me," he leads you to the kitchen, a table set in the middle of it.

"Don't take it to heart," you tease as you sit down at the table. "What's on the menu?"

"I figured I'd just make us some sandwiches and then have ice cream."

"You are a God sent, Spence," you say with a grin up at him.

He makes the sandwiches with whatever you requested on yours. Spencer gets you some chips and a water before sitting down adjacent from you.

The two of you eat and make small conversation. He clears your plates after lunch and tells you to make yourself at home on the couch. You do so, looking around his apartment a little more closely than last time.

After a minute or so, Spencer comes and sits next to you on the couch, handing you a spoon and a pint of ice cream as he does so.

"An angel in the form of a sexy man," you grab his jaw gently.

Spencer blushes and rolls his eyes playfully. "Movie?"

"Movie. You pick."

"Mm might not be the best idea."

"Why's that?"

"Well I'm a nerd and you're you."

"And what is me?"

"That grammar made me want to scream."

You laugh softly, shaking your head. "Then pick a classic."

"Titanic type classic or like Breakfast at Tiffany's?"

"I was thinking Mean Girls."

"Mean Girls?"

"Right, you're old. You have to watch it though!"

"Ouch, but fine, whatever you wish."

You smile widely and grab the remote. "You'll love it! Well, probably not, but I love it."

He grins a little and watches as you pull up the movie. You scoot in a little closer, taking a spoonful of ice cream into your mouth as the first scene plays on the screen.

"This Regina lady is awful," Spencer says with a look of disappointment.

"But she's really hot and really funny."

He gives you a strange look, eyebrows raised.

"It's just a movie, Spencer. Obviously, I would slap a bitch who actually acted like that."
