"Hello, is this George Davidson?" The voice wasn't very comforting.
"y-yes it is." George was starting to worry.
"We have some bad news for you." George was very confused. He knew this was very serious. "It was Niki. She had gotten into a car accident on her way to go camping..."
"what?" George was tearing up. His only friend, the only person who ever understood him was, gone.
"sadly, she passed away from the fast hard contact with the other vehicle. She passed away on site. We are so sorry George."
George couldn't respond. His mind went blank. The only thing that could be heard from him were his towering sobs.
The line went dead.
George fell to the floor and cried so much he threw up. His head pounded. His eyes were blurry. His hands trembled.
George slowly make his was to bed. Almost falling every time he sat a foot on the ground but he managed to make his way with a couple stumbles.
His pillow had a puddle of tears. He kept tossing and turning until his crying eventually slowed down and he drifted off into a light sleep.

George woke up not to long after his went to bed. 4:36 am great. George made his way out of bed.
He wanted to get out of the house, but he couldn't wake his dad. Who knows what would happen if he found out George left the house without him knowing.
George's room was right above the deck so his plan was to go to the deck and then jump down. The deck door didn't have an alarm so it was easy to get out from there.
George was very light with his steps. Slowly placing one foot after another. He creaked open the sliding door and stepped outside. Taking in the cool morning air. It reminded his of Niki. Everything did. The deck where George came out to her. The sidewalk where they would spend times drawing random things with chalk. The little bit of sun that peeled through the horizon reminded him of her cautious smiley self.
He didn't even realize himself tearing up about the thought of her being gone. The thought of him never being ever to talk to her again made him want to curl up and die just to see her again.
He sucked it up and slowly walked down the wooden stairs.
He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he needed to get away for even an hour. This week had been especially hard on him. On top of that he had missed a couple days of school and was practically dreading going back. He knew he needed to though. He used to love school. He could be away from his dad with out him getting super mad when he got home. Some days he would get home and his dad would just ignore him, not in the mood to hurt him, yet. But other days George would come home to his dad drunk with some random girl that he met at the bar, knowing fully well he was still married. That would be a time where he might hit him and yell at him to go up stairs. Some days George knew that his dad would bring home someone so he would go to Niki's and wait til the middle of the night to sneak back in. It worked most nights.
George snapped out of his thoughts as he could see a flower feild in the distance. His legs were hurting from walking. He didn't get much exercise in and he was always sore from his dad hitting and beating him.
He stepped foot into the feel right as the sun started to rise. He hadn't felt this calm in a long time. It was a good feeling to know that he most likely won't be hurt out in the middle of no where.
George layed his head on his hands and watching the sun slowly peak over the mountains. The yellow flowers blending with the orange of the sunset, or at least what he thought was orange.
The only noises that could be heard was the birds chirping, the occasional rumbling of passing car on the dirt road, and his own steady breaths.
His body was finally relaxed after being tense for so very long.
Niki. She came to mind. She would have loved it here. It's so peaceful. George started tearing up again. He wished she was there with him when he had found this. The small stream of tears turned into rivers. She is here. Hopefully she is watching down on me and is proud that i'm taking matters into my own hands. Why can't she be here. It should have been me. Why did she have to go. She could be here with me. Talking me through every little thing.
George curled into a ball and cried until his head hurt to much to even think correctly.
She was gone. She really was.
———————————————————✨at school✨
The school went by pretty slow for George. Now he really had no one to help him or no one to talk to.
"HEY GAYBITCH! we haven't seen you in a while..." Sapnap had a smirk on his face as he walked with his shoulders pushed back.
"Why weren't you here? we missed you!" Techno said with a sarcastic pouty face.
"Leave me alone." George tried to hide the fear in his voice.
"What was that?" Fundy put his hand up against his ear as his someone was going to whisper a secret to him.
"I said leave me alone." George was punished with a hard driven punch to his stomachs. Causing him to fall on the floor with pain.
"That's what I thought." Techno gritted through his teeth.
The group of males pivoted on their heels to turn away from George. Leaving him hunched over leaning against the wall.
His eyes started watering and his vision be came blurry. They only punched me once. This is how weak I am?
Before George knew it he was in the car on his way home with his intoxicated dad driving.
