Lorenzo's POV

I've never been ashamed of who I am or the things I've done, because every action was justified.

It was done in the name of Min-Jeong. My loving, tender mother.

It was approaching seven in the morning, but you couldn't tell through the gloomy clouds and shy sun.

Rain trickled down the hotel window and I watched as it fell in unison. One raindrop after the other.

My eyelids were heavy, and by the time I'd woken up again, Love was sitting in the bay window watching the rain as I did.

I laid there in silence since she thought I was still asleep.

The too big t-shirt I'd given her last night covered most of her body. She stained her nightgown, but wouldn't take my clothes until I practically begged her.

I was taken aback by her admirable beauty. The way her curls ascended down her back. The way her golden brown skin highlighted her features.

She stood and walked back to the bed and caught me staring, but didn't say anything.

She pulled back the covers like she was searching for something, but found something else.

"Have you seen the remote?"

"Is it not by the couch?"

Her eyes found the large bulge in my grey sweatpants.

"Lorenzo," she looked at it for a moment, "what is that?"

"What is what?" I said cluelessly.

"That thing in your pants. Put it away." I looked down and saw my dick aching for attention.

"It's called morning wood. Every guy gets it."

She rolled her eyes in aggravation. "I know."

"Don't blame me, blame science and all that shit." I shrugged my shoulders. "Why are you looking for the remote?" I left the bed to help her find it.

"There's a Criminal Minds marathon going on and I want to watch." She still never made eye contact with me.

I remember when she and I used to sit on her family's living room sofa and watch it together. It was our thing.

"You still watch it?"

She finally looked up at me. "Yes. I can't let all my favorite things be tainted by your memory." I saw the slightest smile appear on her face. "Found it."

Love walked over to the loveseat couch and plopped down on it. "Are you just gonna stand there? Sit down." And I did just that.

Seven years ago

"The unsub isn't that guy. He's too scrawny to have dragged the body all the way into the woods."

"I say he has a partner. Someone with dominance. They're probably close friends, or brothers even." Love said while putting a piece of pie in her mouth. "This is really good. Did you bake this?"

"Yeah, thought you'd like it."

"Well you thought right." She looked over at me and smiled.

I pecked her lips and tasted the apple aftertaste, and I couldn't get enough.

I leaned in for another kiss, and she slanted to the coffee table to sit her plate down.

Her hands roamed through my hair, and her tongue danced accordingly with mine.

God, I could kiss her forever.
