Curt POVIt's been hours since the group dispersed to do their own thing. Curt was in bed, but for some reason, he couldn't fall asleep. Maybe it was because of the girl that lay asleep in the spare bedroom. Shade still had nightmares, so maybe he was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. And within a minute, the other shoe did drop, as his alarms went off that he placed around Shade to monitor her if she ever did have a nightmare. Quickly, Curt summon a calming draught as he heading to the bedroom. As he enters the bedroom quietly, He sees the blankets are flung away from her, with her muttering in her sleep and moving to cover herself in a position. Curt took a breath before carefully moving to her, that when she actually starting screaming. Curt took action, placing the draught next to the bedside table before going on to the bed and hold her, unfortunate, Shade woke up, but not too woken that she didn't recognize that Curt was there, with Bane slithering out of the covers to help Curt in waking her. With Bane's soft hissing and Curt's soft shaking, Shade woke up, and in weakness, Shade clung to him, body shaking as if she was sobbing, yet there weren't any tears...
Shade POV
It wasn't like her to cling onto, but she knows that Connors wasn't going to hurt her. Even if she was slightly afraid, her demons coming back to haunt her once more. As Bane curls up to her while Connors brushed his hand through her hair in an effect to calm her down. It seems like forever since the last time she been held like this when someone cared about her. She still doesn't understand these people, why they wanted to help her. Sometimes she wonders if it would be worth it to reach out to them when she knows full well that it was better to never trust. To Shade, it felt like a trap when they say they wanted to help. Staying up with her demons till there was nothing left to do with these bricks on her chest. Her mind was damage, her body was damaged, how were they going to fix that? Then Connors sighs, "I brought some Calming Draught if you want it." Shade shook her head while burying herself into Connors' side...
Curt POV
He felt Shade burying herself into his side, and he can't help but wonder about different choices, judging his own choices. Shade had been through Hell a couple of times because of their choices. He wanted to fix it, to help her heal, but Shade barely trusts, so far only four people she can lean on, Hermione, Healer Malfoy, Nott, and Zabini.
