I woke up gasping for air.

Where the hell am I?

What's going on?

...

What's that smell? I think to myself, hundreds of thoughts and questions pilling on top of each other in my mind, craving to be answered.

It's almost impossible to think straight when all I'm hearing is metal clanging, a high pitched ringing in my ear, a terrible smell of gasoline and some other things I can't even explain, all that followed with me gasping for air, but the only air in this unfamiliar place is packed with dust. All I could do was panic.

I hear a screeching noise coming from in front of me, it was close. I push myself against the metal wired walls out of fear, dashing my eyes around the box looking elevator I was in.

I lift this purple blanket up to reveal a pig inside a cage, as I uncovered it, the pig screeched again, making me jolt myself back a little, startled.

Which made me look down for some reason, my stomach dropped when I realise that I'm going up higher and higher up in this elevator looking thing.

I stand up and balance myself, I look up and bang on the top of the roof, which also had little holes I could see through.

"Hey! Hey! Help me!" I shout, out of breathe, from breathing in all the dust.

Whoever put me here, put me in some type of cage, like I was some type of animal.

Just as I was about to sit back down to catch my breathe, I a red light up above.

I was getting closer to it by the second so I throw myself on the ground out of instinct.

The whole cage shook as it hit the roof of whatever the hell this was, leaving the whole place silent, the red light turned off, leaving the whole place pitch black. I got a moment to think. Even the pig was silent from the sudden crash and how loud the silence was.

The only sound was my now heavy breathes.

All of a sudden there was a loud buzzer noise, followed by a green light shining all around. Which caused me to jolt out of fear because it was so quiet before.

Then it went pitch black, I started panicking even more because now I couldn't see anything.

A few seconds passed then a sudden beam of light shone through, followed by a loud noise of metal and concrete colliding together.

I put my hand over my eyes as the light was just too much for me after this sudden darkness.

Just as my eyes start to adjust to the light I move my hand away from my face to see a man standing above, looking down at me, with a blank expression on his face, speaking no words.

He suddenly jumps down to where I was, causing the whole cage to shake and my heart skip a beat because of how overwhelmed I was. What the hell is this?

He puts his hand down to me, gesturing me to take it. Which I hesitate to do so, but I did.

"Welcome to The Glade." He says with a faint smile plastered on his face.

"I'm Alby, nice to meet you." He says to me. I'm now standing, with a confused look on my face.

I'm practically still in shock so I say nothing back to him at all, I just stare at him with the same confused look as before.

"Well, what's your name?" He says again, making me snap out of my silence.

"I-I don't know my name, why can't I remember my name?" I say, starting to panic a bit, what if I have brain damage?
