Ji woke up to a doctor gently rubbing her forehead. She relaxed at the gentle touch but grabbed the womans hand. "Tae-hwan?" Ji asked.

"Oh you're awake. The officers said you would be worried about the boy so I checked on him a few hours ago. He. . . He's stable." The doctor gave a reassuring smile.

Ji let the doctors hand go and relaxed. "I want to see him."

She rubbed Jis forehead a bit more then tapped on a machine. "He's not awake." She said softly.

"I want to see him."

The doctor gently grabbed Jis hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "I'll get you right away when you can see him. I'll keep you updated." She said. "Now. How are you? Does anything besides the broken wrist and dislocated shoulder hurt?"

"Not really," Ji mumbled.

"How about in your head? Mentally I mean."

Ji took a moment to think then nodded. "Ow," she shrugged

The doctor smiled and placed a gentle hand on Jis cheek. "That boy really cares for you. The officers said they went against regulations letting him get to you first and taking care of you."

Ji smiled. Tears dripped down her face and she closed her eyes gently. It hurt to much to squeeze them shut because of the bruises.

"When you're ready, two officers are going to come in and ask you for everything you remember. Officer Kim is the man, and Officer Ha is the girl. Just tell me when you're ready." She patted Jis face gently and began walking out.

"Will I see Tae faster?" Ji quickly asked.

The doctor looked back with a slight smile. "It depends. I'm forbidden to let you see him until you finish questioning but I also can't let you see him until he wakes up. And it doesn't seem he'll be awake today."

Ji took a deep shakey breath and let it out slowly. A tear fell but she quickly wiped it away. "I'll do it now," she agreed, sitting up a bit more.

The doctor smiled and left. A few minutes passed and 2 males walked in. Ji tensed and stared at them in fear.

"It's ok," the one in a police uniform reassured her. "I'm officer Gy Kim. This is detective Eun Hyuk and. . . Oh. Shes talking to your doctor. Officer Fao Ha will be here shortly," he explained.

Ji hugged her knees and bowed her head slightly in respect. "Ji-young Ae." She introduced.

A female officer walked calmly into the room and smiled. "Hi. I'm officer Fao Ha,"she bowed. "Sorry. I stopped to talk to your doctoer, Doctor Jeong Hye."

"Ji-Young Ae," Ji bowed again then realized they knew exactly who she was so her introduction was unnecessary.

"We need you to tell us everything you remember about 2 nights ago."

At that, Ji explained everything. It was a slow, painful process, but eventually covered everything they needed and they left, leaving Ji alone again.

1 hour later.

A gentle knock on the door made Ji jump and squeal a little in fear. "It's just me," her doctor bowed. "Don't worry. Me and a few nurses are the only ones alowed to enter," she reassured her.

"And Tae?" Ji asked.

The doctor forced a smile. "Yes. If he has the ability to."

"Hes stable?" Ji asked, threatend by her sad expression.

Dr. Hye stayed silent for a moment then gently grabbed Jis hand to reassure her. "Tae-Hwan stopped breathing."

Ji pushed the doctor weakly and tried to get up but Dr. Hye pushed her back down.

"Ji!" She cried. "He's not gone yet. We're helping him."

Ji froze, her face already red and soaked with tears. "I want to see him now!" She begged.

"Trust me Ji. The doctors are doing there best to keep him alive," Hye stated.

Ji got up again using the doctor as a crutch. She took a deep shakey breath and let it out slowly. "But he'll be ok?" She asked hoarsely.

"I. . ." She sighed. "We hope so."

She wanted to see him. Needed to. But she didn't. Not in the conditionhe was in. He just had to get better. She could see him. . . Later. "Can I go see someone else here?"

"Who?" Dr. Hye asked, helping Ji into a wheel chair.

Ji let her head fall back, holding back her tears. "Jun-hwan."

"Oh my," the doctor gasped. "That's Tae Hwans brother?"

Ji laughed. "It seems everyone I like is trying there best to leave me."

Dr. Hye grabbed the poll holding the bags that lead needles into Jis arm. She pushed Ji in the wheelchair down to Juns room and knocked. She went in before Ji, propping the door opened. "You have a visistor," she sang.

"Tae Tae?" Jun questioned happily.

Ji stood up, annoyed at the wheelchair. "Take these out of my arm. I don't need it."

"I-I'm not supposed to-

"I'll do it," Ji rolled her eyes grabbing the tube.

Dr. Hye quickly grabbed Jis arm and bowed slightly. "I see it's for your best interest that I do. I guess keeping you healthy is my main priority so." She took the needles out carefully and bowed again. "I'll leave you two."

Ji walked in, letting the door close behind her. She looked at the needles in Juns arm then at Jun. "I. . ." She couldn't tell him. She couldn't get a word out of her mouth. How could she possibly say that his brother was nearly dead because of her carelessness.

Jun noticed her sadness and sat up. "Hey. What's wrong? Who hit you? Why are you so beat up?" He asked worriedly.

Ji laughed, rolling her eyes. She looked sadly into Juns eyes, feeling tears hit her arms. "Someone. . . He. . ." She took a deep breath. She couldn't tell him. The stress would make him sicker then he was. "A-A man broke into my house." She simply stated.

Jun stumbled to his feet and hugged her. "Does it hurt? Did they catch him?" He asked.

"Yeah. An officer ran into the room and the man shot him. But the officer. . . He was really strong and determined to help me. He kept running at the man and tackled him then he held me. And dressed me. And took care of me. Then he couldn't stand the pain and. . . He's in the hospital now. They said he stopped breathing." She explained, only fibbing slightly.

"Ji I'm so sorry. I'm sorry about the officer to. It makes me sad and I didn't even know him," Jun said, wiping a tear from Jis face.
