Yeon and the girls backed up, terrified.

The boy turned Ji to face him and she put her hands down to protect her stomach. "Stop!" She pleaded.

"You stupid bitch! Do you know what you've done?" He continued. "You probably lied about it being him. He didn't do anything. You're just a low life peice of shit." He kept pushing her a step back as he spoke. "You're ugly. You know that. You're real fucking ugly." He hit her roughly across the face but not as hard as he could. Something scared him.  He was terrified but determined.

Ji kept her stomach protected best she could as she whined, trying to get free.

"I hope you fucking die. I hope you suffer like you're making him!"

"I didn't make him-

"Shut up!" He yelled, kneeing her. Her hands blocked her stomach which made him even angry. "Piece of shit!" He screamed, kneeing her again.

The boy was thrown violently to the floor and a tight protective grasp went around her shoulders. She looked up worriedly and relaxed seeing the familiar face. Tae-hwan.

Tae kneeled down and examined her for marks. "How bad?" He asked seriously.

"He barely touched me. Tae you don't have to-

Tae put his finger over her mouth then stood up, turning to Jins brother. "Get the fuck out of here," he demanded.

The boy shoved Tae who threw a swift punch, hitting him in the face then kneeing him and shoving him into a seat at the table. "If I ever see you touch her again your fucking dead," Tae warned.

The boy looked around and eyed Ji. "Fuck you," he hissed through gritted teeth. He threw a tray of food and got up, aiming a punch at Tae. The boy was thrown again and Tae got a few punches in before running to Jis aid.

Ji stood in shock as food and water dripped from her body. Tae quickly pulled her hair out of its ponytail and wiped the food from her body. "Are you ok?" He asked

Ji looked up at him and quickly wiped a tear from her eye.

Tae took his shirt off and put it on Ji. "Are you alright? I know you don't like when I hurt people so I won't hit him again."

Ji looked at Tae and cleared her throat. "Thank you." She whispered.

"Ah. Why are you just standing there?" Tae whined, swiping her off her feet into his arms. "And where the hell are the teachers? Why do they always seem to be gone when someone hurts you?"

Ji held Tae tightly, ignoring the gasps of shock and the Oohs and awes from the crowd. "I love you," Ji mumbled.

"I love you more," Tae spoke softly. He brought her into the locker room and set her on the bench. "Do you want to leave?"

"I've missed so much already," she sighed.

Tae sat next to her, straddling the bench. He turned her towards him and pulled her close. "Tell me truthfully. Did he hurt you?" He insisted.

Ji smiled slightly. "No. I had my hands in front of me."

Tae quickly grabbed her arms and examined them. "Your brace," he hissed. "Your wrist is so irritated."

"I'm ok Tae," Ji insisted.

Tae pulled her closer, brushing more food from her clothes. "I was in the bathroom. I didn't know he was hurting you until I saw the crowd otherwise I would have came right away."

"It's ok Tae," Ji laughed. "I was going to hit him myself."

"You should've."

Ji laughed. "It would've barely hurt him."

Tae shrugged, pulling Ji as close as possible. "Actually. You're stronger than you think," he said, kissing her gently.

Ji laughed and rested her head on his chest. The bell rang and she laughed again. "Fuck school," she groaned. Tae kissed her again, not pulling away this time. "Let's skip class." He stated.

It felt like mere minutes before it was time to leave school. Tae gave Ji one last gentle kiss on her forehead before helping her up.

"That kid probaly thinks I've left him," Tae sighed.

"Ki or Jun?" Ji asked.

Tae laughed. "Both." He helped her change into a fresh top and covered her with his jacket. "You're ok?" He asked again.

Ji smiled. "Yes. . . Who. . . Who was that?"

"Jins brother. Seok," Tae answered, gathering there things to leave. "You don't know him?"

"No. I didn't know he had a brother." Ji said, hooking Taes arm as they walked.

"You didn't tell Jun about what happened did you?"

Ji laughed "I did. But I didn't tell him it was you. I said it was an officer." Ji laughed.

Tae side hugged her tightly, patting her shoulder. "Gosh you're so cute," he breathed.

They got to the hospital and Tae stopped Ji. "So he. . . He doesn't know we're together?" He asked.

Ji looked at him guiltily. "Well I couldn't tell him his brother was shot. . . And he. . . He likes me. I couldn't tell him I like his brother. That's such a shit move Tae."

Tae thought for a minute then let Ji go. "Maybe. . . Maybe we should just pretend we're not. He's. . . He's not in a position to get his heart broken."

Ji smiled slightly. "I'll go to Ki then."

Tae walked away without farther comment. Ji sighed and went to Kis room.

"You came!" Ki cheered.

"Hi," Ji smiled and walked to his bed.

Ki jumped on her, hugging her tightly. "Jun-Hwan told me all about you. He said you're even better than I thought. He really likes you you know. And- and he told me that you're. . . Uh. . . super nice and gentle, and. . ." He pulled away happily sitting back in the bed. "Well? Is it true?"

Ji laughed. "Maybe."

10 pm.

"Baby."

Ji woke to Taes gentle voice. She opened her eyes and looked at Tae kneeling next to her then Ki craddled in her arms with a book ontop of him. "I fell asleep," she whined.

Tae laughed, gently picking the book up and moving it aside. He carefully moved Ki then lifted Ji into his arms. "Go back to sleep. Its ok."
