He's here.

My brother.

Evil X.

With Scar.

WHAT'S HE DOING WITH SCAR.

'Xisuma Void.' He greets me coolly.

'Eryx Xamphe Void, what in the name of all things Minecraft are you doing here?!'

'I died.'

'You died?'

'And so did you.'

'Yes.'

'Uhh... what's... going on here?' Scar intervenes.

'How are you doing, brother?' Xamphe ignores the former-mayor.

'How are you doing?'

'I'm doing alright.'

'Trapped anyone in any mazes recently?'

'You weren't supposed to murder each other...'

'What's happening? Since when were you two brothers?'

'Since always. Scar, meet Xisuma. Your admin. The person that banned me to eternal torment and boredom for trying to talk to him.'

'Xisuma?'

'Get out.'

'How?'

'GET OUT! And get away from my friend. Scar, come here.'

'Why? He's not doing any harm.'

'Because I told you to.'

Scar doesn't obey immediately, but eventually joins me. Xamphe narrows his eyes.

'Bossing around the other hermits now?'

'Shut up.'

'Can someone explain what's happening?!' Scar repeated. 'Since when were you brothers?!'

'Since always. Scar, we're going back to the others. Cub's searched everywhere for you twice.'

'No!'

'What?'

'I'm staying with EX.' He decides.

'Why?'

'Because I want to.'

'Scar, stop being stupid and come with me!' I know I'm acting rudely, and that this isn't Scar's fault. But in the moment it feels like he's the problem, and I take out all my anger on him.

'No! You can't boss me around!'

'Well, I can, and I am. Cub's waiting for you back in the camp. He thinks you're dead.'

'Well you can tell him I'm not dead.'

'I'm not leaving until you come with me.'

'You're going to be waiting a very long time.'

He hobbles back towards the bed where he was sitting. I snatch his hand.

'Get OFF!' He snaps. Blue fire flares up and I step back. He glares back at me one last time, sitting down.

'Tell Cub I'm safe.'

I clench my fists, but give up on trying to persuade him.

'Fine.'

I storm out, slamming the door behind, and striding towards the camp again. It's daytime, but the number of attacks recently made me paranoid and I pull out a sword. As I should've expected, no one gets in the way as I return to the camp.

'Any luck?' Cub's there as I arrive, biting his lip.

'Sort of.' I reply. 'Well, he's not dead.'

'Then where is he?!'

'Not coming back. I'll explain more later.'

'What? Why?'

'I'll explain later! Get back to whatever you were doing!'

'No!'

'Is everyone going to argue with me today?!'

I enter my home and slam the door as hard as I can behind, not caring what Cub does next. I collapse down on my bed, not even bothering to take off my helmet as I fall asleep.

I wake in a place that feels familiar, but I don't know if I've ever been before. I'm bleeding. I should be dead from my injuries. I never remember getting them. My helmet isn't on, and I find it next to me, badly cracked.

What... happened?

I'm in a stone corridor, like the ones that filled the maze but with more light. My hands are ghostly white. I'm reminded of a game we played on Hermitcraft called Demise, where everyone ended up like this.

'H...Hello?' My voice is laced with suspicious as I speak, standing up. I don't pick up my helmet, instead tying up my long-ish hair in a ponytail as I walk. The blood makes a path behind me, and I want to find some kind of mirror or water source to see what I now look like.

There are voices ahead. It takes a surprisingly long time to recognise them. False... Wels... Grian... and Hypno?

They turn the corner, and see me. I'm armed, I realise. They seem very surprised to see me.

'Oh my goodness it's Xisuma.' False starts.

'Why? Where am I?'

'You're... out... of wherever you were...'

'Are you going to attack us?' Grian asks. I frown at the suggestion.

'Why would I attack you? Don't you trust me?' It comes out angrier than I expected, but I'm fine with that. Of course I'm not dangerous! Why would I be dangerous? I clench my sword tighter. Grian steps back.

'O...k... I'm going to go.'

'But what about finding the exit?' Hypno replies sadly.

'We'll do that later. Let's go back.'

'Xisuma, we understand you don't mean harm.'

'You clearly don't! Grian's scared of me. Why are you scared of me?!'

'Because Impulse attacked us when he came back.'

'Impulse... died.' I explain slowly. 'In the world I was in. He died. Are you saying he ended up here?'

'Yes. Wait, you were in another world?'

'All of us are. Now what's going on here?'

'We're going back to the base. Hypno, False, Wels, come on.' Grian turns away. I growl quietly.

'STOP THIS!' I snarl. Grian picks up the pace. Wels draws his sword. 'Tell me why you're scared!'

'Because you're angry!'

But I can't seem to calm down. I want to hurt them. I want to kill them.

I go in for the kill.

Wels fights back when I attack, pushing me against the wall. I cough on blood, slicing back. I'm stronger than him. Much stronger. False comes in now, but I push her to the ground, stabbing. Wels shoves me again before I can kill her, trying to pin me, telling the others to run. I won't let them get away. I send him crashing to the ground. False yells his name, but Hypno holds her back as I kill him.

I turn to the others. Grian's long gone. Hypno's firing arrows desperately at me, and one hits my side. I barely feel it, tearing it out, even as another strikes my chest. I fall down. They run. I scream for blood. One death isn't enough. One death is never enough. But now I will die too, as I lie against the wall, coughing up even more. I close my eyes as I drift away, into death, one last time.
