Chapter-9

Arjun's pov:

We heard an announcement..

"Lets welcome our staff Shreya to sing the welcome song and inaugurate the event"..

She came to the stage holding a mike..

I was hooked up by her antics..

She walked majestically and reached the platform and started looking around..

I could clearly sense that she was intentionally avoiding my eye contact..

I was sitting in the front VIP row and was
starring her from there..

Rahul tapped my hand and said
"hmm...hmm..enjoy..'

" Shut up Rahul..",I whispered...

She cleared her throat and started singing..

She started singing Chinna chinna vanna
kuyil song..

I was keenly listening to her without taking my eyes off her..

At a particular lyric she shifted her gaze towards me..

"Mannavan perai cholli
malligai soodi konden
manmadhan paadal ondru
nenjukkul paadi konden"

Rahul smiled at me and said, "Machi..do you noticed that? She saw u machii while singing those lyrics.. machii..I think she still love u..

I turned towards him and said,

"please da..keep quite for sometime da macha"

All these happenings took me to our college days..

It was the inaugural ceremony of our
department..

I joined this clg from 2nd yr before that I was studying in chennai..

bcoz of my rude behavior with my mates and staffs I was dismissed from that clg..

My father was a business man..

Using his influence he got admission for me in this clg..

It was june 07,2009..

That was my first day in this college..

I don't know anybody here..

I was sitting in the same auditorium lonely..

Then there was a singing competition..

I was about to go out..

But heard a sweet pleasant voice started singing..

I got stunned and sat back..

She was like a little bunny..

Her wide black eyes rolled all over the
auditorium searching for somebody..
