Taehyung says I should date Hoseok, he thinks a change will help me finally move on from Jungkook. I broke the news to him that I've already tried that method with Jimin and failed.

He felt betrayed, his two best friends, dating, neither mentioning a word to him. Well, it never really felt like dating to begin with, there was nothing worth saying.

Jimin got a bigger earful than I did though. Hehe.

I've graduated.

Holy crap, I made it through without murdering anyone. I have soju to thank.

We all went to the city to celebrate Christmas at Jin and Namjoons place, their first Christmas with their daughter, Namjoo.

We only left after visiting grandpa though, I know how much he loves Christmas. He still can't remember us much but in terms of other aspects of health he's doing better.

I hope we can have another accident-free year.

30. 1. 2025

Taehyung and I are back home with (y/m/n), some bratty little shit at her school is teasing her about not having parents or a proper family.

So, I gathered the whole gang; Taehyung and I are going to show up as her glamourous parents, Yoongi and Jimin as her grandpa and grandma respectively.

We nailed it.

Worlds best actors go to us, give us an oscar already.

I bought roses, I weaved them into a little crown and hung them on grandpas tree for grandma.

I wonder what Jungkook did with the one I gave him.

I hope he's happy.

I should be grateful I have a job but I also want to murder everyone somedays. Yoongi says thats just how life is, he also informed me that there is no marbled cheesecake in prison or wi-fi, his words help me stay calm.

Taehyung got a great job offer back in the city, I didn't want him to waste his youth here with me, so I encouraged him to go.

I know he'll regret it if he stays.

The house is pretty empty without Taehyung, but I have (y/m/n) with me, she's the little light of my life.

She talks alot about her teacher Hoseok.

Sidenote : I taught her how to braid hair and so far her main victim is Yoongi, he's so adorable with little braids and hello kitty clips in his hair.

Grandpas condition suddenly plummeted, they said to prepare ourselves for the worst.

He could barely talk, I held his hand, waited by his side for him to wake up.

And when he did ....he asked for Jungkook. He keeps on saying theres something he has to give him.

I called Taehyung, now that he's in the city maybe he could use his connections to find Jungkook. Grandpa seems dead set on giving Jungkook this thing, though he won't tell me what it is.

Taehyung said he'll try his best.

10. 10. 2025

I have enough money saved aside to send (y/m/n) to an art class, she's thrilled about the idea.

I heard there's a new one downtown that popped up, seems quite promising.

Taehyung can't find anything on Jungkook though, it's like he vanished. Grandpa doesn't talk much anymore, just stares out a window.

I checked out the place offering art classes, it's a pretty big space, it's only officially opening in December.

Turns out this is the second store, the first one opened up in the city and did really well, the founder and original teacher supposedly has a unique way of teaching, people loved it.

Grandpa's really skinny, it's not that he's refusing to eat, it's more like he can't remember when he ate and when he didn't, he often thinks he's already eaten when he hasn't.

In times like this, our memories by the tree with Jungkook back during our school days always seemed to fly though my mind, to rub salt into the wound.

Shit, I can't believe I'm still waiting for him even after all these years. Pathetically waiting for a man like a damsel in distress. One would think I would know by now, no ones there to save a damsel except herself.

My work ran late today, I had to ask Jimin to pick (y/m/n) from art class today. Of course, he bought her ice-cream on the way back, he tends to be that one uncle that always sneaks her sweets and treats to spoil her appetite before dinner.

She said she really liked the art class, I'm relieved.
