'Your such an idiot' I laughed at Jordan as we headed back into the dressing room from the pitch.
Training had been really good, it felt amazing to be back with the boys and stretch my legs for the first time in well over a month.
The boys all piled into the dressing room as the speakers began to blast out our playlist. John and Kyle were dancing like absolute twats whilst some of the others filmed and watched the hilarious scene unfold in front of us.

I sat down on the bench and switched my phone back on, I was shocked not to see a text or any notification from Sage but when she's with Megan she's in her own little world anyway. I got myself changed back into my more comfy tracksuit and shoved all my stuff back into the bag. Heading out of the dressing room I was greeted by a very panicky looking Tyrone.

'You good bro?' I asked with a chuckle, continuing to walk towards to exit and patting Ty on the back as I strolled past.

'Jack wait' he shouted after me, I turned on my heals and looked at him. What was his problem?
Ty began to walk over to me and suddenly I began to panic, what on earth was going on? He never acted like this, anyone who knows Ty knows he's the most chill guy on the planet, this was not normal.

'It's Sage' he started and I immediately felt the adrenaline begin to pump through my veins my feet raring to get into the car and drive. I did my best to stop myself from running there and then, instead waiting and listening to what Tyrone had to say.

'Something happened when she went out, I'm not sure what and now she's in the Manchester private' he finished and my eyes widened. Hospital?! Why?

'Come on' I dragged him out of the training ground and into the car driving out of the car park and straight to the hospital.
There was already a crowd of reporters outside of the hospital but this time I ignored them rushing inside, Tyrone quick on my heals.
Our panicked appearances attracted the attention of many of the people in the hospital entrance.
One of the nurses clearly recognised us and ushered us over to the corner.

'What's happened?' I was frantic as the nurse walked with us down one of the corridors.

'Safe has gone in for surgery' she explained and I panicked even more. Tyrone rested his hand on my shoulder in an attempt to calm me down but right now it only felt like more pressure.

'Surgery for what?' Tyrone asked, I was unable to speak I was so frightened, was the baby okay? Surely Sage has just tripped and broke her ankle no? Something silly you know, like she always does.
The nurse turned to us and a frown formed on her face, a heavy atmosphere falling in between the three of us as we started at each other.

'She's having an operation to remove the baby' she explained and I dropped to the floor, leaning against the wall and drawing my knees up to my chest.
The nurse crouched down next to me and began to explain what was going on.

'Safe passed out in a restaurant earlier today, her body went into shock which meant your baby was starved of oxygen for around two hours, the decision was made when she arrived here that your little one has the best chances of survival in one of our premature incubators where we can monitor both mother and baby'

The words were like a foreign language to me as she spoke. I was clueless about what any of it meant, my only focus and concern being whether or not Sage was alright.

'It's been ages' I moaned, tapping my foot on the floor of the room myself and Tyrone had been placed in whilst we waited for Sage.
Tyrone checked his watch again and sighed, standing up and doing a few laps around the room, I watched as he paced around and closed my eyes attempting to pass the time. A million and one thoughts were running through my head as the minutes turned into hours.
Suddenly the door opened and in walked a doctor, he looked exhausted as he closed the door behind him, standing in front of us with his hands behind his back.

'Jack?' He asked and I stood up, introducing myself to him and shaking his hand.

'How is she?' I asked and a small smile began to form on his face, I relaxed slightly at his calm demeanour.

'Well she's awake, both Sage and baby are doing well, we're going to have to monitor them very closely over the next couple of weeks but, baby is okay' he finalised and walked down the corridor back towards the room where Sage was, I followed quickly and felt a rush of emotion as I saw her tired face.

'Baby' I whispered to myself but loud enough for her to hear me, she looked up with an exhausted smile as I walked over to her, wrapping her up in my arms. I pressed a kiss to her head and took a deep breath in, glad the past 5 hours were over.

'I'll leave you two to it, I'm glad your okay Sage' Tyrone smiled and left the room.

'Oh my baby' I began to cry against her as her weak hand fell from mine onto the bed. I sat on the bed next to her and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear as she sighed.

'I'm glad you hear' she croaked, her voice was frail and gentle as she spoke but I was just glad to hear her.

'I came as quickly as I could' I smiled and pressed a gentle kiss to her hands.

'There's someone waiting to meet you' she smiled tiredly and directed her eyes over to the left where there was a glass box.
A million and one wires coming in and out of the box and a gentle humming coming from behind it along with a beeping. I prepared myself and stood up, walking around Sage's bed I looked over the box and saw our tiny little human squirming around.

'He's a boy' Sage spoke from behind me and I smiled widely, a small tear rolling down my cheek as I put my hand through one of the gaps in the box and our little boys hand latched onto my finger.

'Welcome buddy' I whispered and heard a gentle sniffle from behind me, I turned to see Sage with tears streaming down her face.
