3 months later:

Clarke stood in the Chancellor's quarters overlooking the map that linked all the different grounder zones. Azgeda was as feisty as ever, but with Roan as King, Clarke was certain peace could be reached. Especially with Lexa leading the Coalition. Seeing Lexa brought back so much pain, so many memories but in Clarke's heart she was happy for her. Lexa married Costia, and the woman seemed happier than she'd ever been. Certainly happier than Clarke had ever seen her.

It seemed that this timeline was almost perfect. Almost. .

"There's still people in sector 7." Kane said beside her and Abby nodded.

"Maybe Bellamy and Monty can take a ground unit, see if they can find them." Abby's pale blue eyes were fierce and alive. Clarke missed that.

"Not Bellamy." Clarke said sternly.

Abby and Kane shared a look and then nodded slowly, carefully even as though any sudden movement would spark something in Clarke and either scare her or piss her off. The door swung open and Bellamy lumbered in. He inhaled deeply when his eyes met Clarke's.

"I need to speak to you." He said lowly.

"Not now." Clarke said, eyes turning back to the map before them.

She might have been avoiding him. Ever since they exchanged their first kiss, but in truth Clarke was having a hard time dealing with the grief that still plagued her. Bellamy had died, and in some way her Bellamy had died.

The man who lingered in the doorway was Bellamy Blake, but was he her Bellamy Blake? Was he the same man she'd fallen in love with? Was he the same person who died in Octavia's arms in a world they'd left behind? Clarke really had no idea how any of that worked.

She wasn't sure if time reset itself or if they were literally on a different timeline. If it was the latter she wondered what happened to the people they'd left behind. Did they die right alongside Bellamy? Had Jordan and Hope fallen victim to yet another mistake? These questions tore Clarke apart but she was in no hurry for answers. She simply wanted solutions to past grievances. She wanted to make sure they deserved this second chance and survived it.

But the man in the doorway, that was a heart wrenching question all on it's own. Who was he? Was he her Bellamy Blake? The one she lost? The one she left behind? The one she waited six years for? The man who saved her life from Josephine. Who was this man?

"We'll give you some privacy." Abby smiled knowingly and placed a hand on Clarke's arm before disappearing out the door with Kane.

Bellamy pushed the door closed and crossed his arms as he stepped towards her. "Why won't you let me help?"

Clarke's eyes met his for a brief moment and then turned back to the map. "What do you mean? You do a lot here."

"Why haven't I left the gates? Why won't you let me step foot outside of Arkadia?"

"I need you here." Clarke answered.

Bellamy let out a condescending laugh. "Right, because monitoring radiation levels with Raven or working in the garage is a good use of my military skills."

"We have soldiers Bellamy, we don't need you."

At that his brows rose high on his forehead. He shook his head and sighed. "You, Octavia, and Murphy and Raven have all been different. What aren't you telling me?"

"No we haven't." Clarke scoffed. She was never any good at lying to Bellamy.

"What aren't you telling me?" Bellamy's tone was not kind.

"Nothing!" Clarke bellowed, rolling her eyes. The lies just kept on coming.

"You've barely spoken to me!" Bellamy shouted. "You've barely even looked at me since we kissed." He paused, eyes looking all over the room for some kind of support but he found none. He sighed softly. "You're different. Octavia is different. Something is different. You know things. I don't know how you knew about that Cadogan guy, or why we had to kill him and his people but you knew about it and that stone and I know it in my gut Clarke, theres more to this than you're telling me."
