Marcel's POV:

I walked inside Olivia's house because she said she would open her present then. I can't wait to see the big smile on her face when she opens it up. "Marcel? Marcel? Marcel!" Olivia yelled. "Wh-what?" I asked. "I've been calling your name for like five minutes now, why haven't you been answering me?" She asked. "I guess I just zoned out again." I said. "I'm going to open the envelope now, okay?" She asked. "Okay." I said getting excited, "I cant wait to see the smile on your face when you open it". She just sat there smiling.

She slowly opened it and pulled out the letter that was inside. She started to read what was on the letter and I could tell she was getting excited. "Dear Olivia Jackson, we would like to announce our world tour coming up starting June 22nd and you might have known that already if you're as big of a fan as we were told. Someone told us that the 22nd of June is your birthday. Why is that important? It's because on your birthday you will be attending our concert. In this envelope there are two front row tickets to our concert, and two back stage passes. We hope you have an amazing birthday and hope you enjoy our concert. Can't wait to see you :) -Calum, Luke, Micheal and Ashton or as we like to call ourselves, 5sos <3" She read. "Oh My God! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for getting me this!" Olivia says as she jumped and straddled her legs around my waist and wrapped her arms around my neck. "This is the best gift I have ever gotten!" She yelled. "I'm glad you like it." I add. "Like it?! I love it!!"

She jumped down out of my arms and started jumping up and down and running around squealing. She then found her hover board in the corner and started riding it all around her house. Once she made her way back to me she reached her arms out to mine and stopped herself from moving. "M, I need to show you something. You might think I'm crazy after I show you this, but I swear I'm not." She said grabbing my hand and walking me to her room. "Liv I'm scared now." I said. "You shouldn't be, well I don't think." She told me.

She walked me into her room and to this small door inside. "You might think this is a closet, but it is far beyond that. This is a room I like to call 'the fan girl room'." She said as she opened the door. My mouth instantly dropped. I couldn't believe my eyes. There were so many poster and t-shirts. Cardboard cut-outs too, those were definitely the creepiest thing I have ever seen. "Liv, what is this?!" I asked more like yelled. "This is my fan girl room. Like i said a little bit ago, you might think I'm crazy now." She said. "I don't think you're crazy, I just didn't expect this." I said, "Who are all these people anyways?" I feel like I offended her because after I said that she gasped and hit me. "How do you not know?! You got me tickets to their concert!" She yelled. "Oh! So this is five seconds of summer?" I asked. "Yes. This is Luke, and that's Calum. Oh, and that's Ashton and Micheal." "That's cool? You like umm...love these people?" I asked. "Yes. Is that even a question?!" She answered. I just stood there looking sad. I thought i was going to get an answer like, 'I love them but not as much as I love you' or 'I love you more than them though'. But that would never happen.

Would I be crazy to say that her I love my best friend? I only told her I think she's cute, but that's not it. I think she is really smart and funny. She doesn't take life too seriously. She's also very caring too, she cares about me so much. I remember in grade two when I fell off the swings, and she helped me up and to the nurse and Mae sure I was okay after school. I also remember in grade eight when Jake gave me the worst concussion ever, she was the one that stayed in the hospital with me the whole time; she never left. Earlier she called me cute too, so she absolutely likes me, or she may even love me?

After a while Olivia and Noah's mum drove us to Olivia's gymnastics meet. In the front, Noah and their mum sat; and in the back me and Olivia sat. She looked really nervous, almost like she was going to throw up then pass out right after. "Liv, you feelin' alright" I asked. "Umm, yeah I'm fine. Just a bit nervous." She answered. "Why would you be nervous? You've done this like a billion times, right?" "Yeah, but this time your gonna be there and my coach told us that this is a big opportunity to get on the Olympic team." She said. "Liv, you're going to do great. Nothing should change because I'm here today' just think of it as a normal meet, okay?" I said wrapping my arms around her for a hug. "You're right. Nothing should be different." She said breathing heavily, "Everything is going to be fine".

We got there and walked inside the building. Olivia looked really nervous, more nervous than before. There were so many people here; was even getting nervous. I squeezed Olivia in to a hug, and hugged her tight. "You're gonna be fine Liv, just don't freak out. You've got this. There's nothing to be scared of." I said. "Y-You're right w-why should I even be scared anyways?" She said.
——-
It was now a little bit later and it was Olivia's turn for beam. She looked really nervous walking over to the beam. Olivia looked over at me as I sat in the middle row of the bleachers, and took at deep breath then started. She was doing a bunch of flips and spins, I don't know what they are all called but they all looked pretty cool. She taught me one thing from beam, and that is the dismount. She looked like she was about to do a dismount off the beam.

She took off with her feet and started twisting in the air. She landed off the beam; well not quite. She landed but then it looked like her ankle gave out and she fell. I was running as fast as I ever have. Her brother and mum running after me, and so did her coach.

"Ow ow ow!" Olivia screamed, "I can't move my foot." She said in between breaths. She sat on one of the mats sobbing.

"What exactly happen Olivia?" Her coach asked.

"I-I landed a-and then m-my ankle j-just gave out a-and n-now I-I can't move it." She answered, "It really really really hurts."

"Let's get you to the paramedics." Coach said.

"I'll help you." I said rushing to Olivia's side.

We helped her walk over to the paramedics and onto a bed. They were examining her foot, and they didn't say much except for asking Liv questions. I was by her side holding her hand, she was still crying a bit but not as much as before. Every time they would move her foot a little, she would squeeze my hand tighter and tighter. She must be so scared. Imagine doing something you love and then get hurt!
