Y/n
"Y/n/n, you've got nothing to worry about!" Elizabeth said to you, as you two, your little sister and your parents walked through the crowd on platform 9 ¾.
"You sure, Lizzie?" you asked, looking up at your sister. "What if I don't make any friends?"
"Nonsense," she responded, shaking her head.
"But what if they don't respect that I'm a muggleborn?" you continued.
"Sure, some people don't, but most don't care about blood status. Almost everyone respects me in school, so I'm sure they will respect you too. And otherwise I'll show them what a muggleborn's fist can do," your sister winked, making you laugh softly.
Once you five finally made it through the humongous crowd, you turned to your parents.
"Have fun, sweetie," your mother said, giving you a hug and a kiss on the top of your head. But careful to not hurt your little brother, Brian. "Now, I don't know exactly what you all learn in there, but I know you can do it."
"I hope so," you chuckled, taking your owl, Smudge's case in the other hand.
"I love you, sweetheart," your father said next, looking at you lovingly; stroking your hair.
"I love you, dad."
You then gave a soft kiss on the top of Brian's little head, making him laugh softly.
"I'll miss you too, Brian."
"Okay, enough of that sentimental stuff, we better get going, Y/n/n," Elizabeth said, taking your hand and pulling you towards the train.
"Bye, mum! Bye, dad! Bye, Brian!" you said quickly, before disappearing into the train.
Elizabeth was pulling you through the large train, looking in all compartments; searching for one with either no one in it or one with kids your age.
Eventually she found one, there were three boys and one girl in it. A boy with greasy hair, a girl with red hair, a curly haired boy and another boy with raven hair.
"Excuse me?" Elizabeth asked, making everyone in the compartment turn towards you two.
"Could my little sister sit here too?" she asked and when everyone simply nodded she nudged you inside before closing the door behind her; off to find her friends.
Awkwardly you placed your travelbag on the rack above the compartment and walked towards a seat that was free; the whole compartment silent. The red haired girl you had taken a seat next to was in tears as she placed a hand on the window. Watching how the platform went further and further away.
"Hi, Lily," the greasy haired boy said.
"I don't want to talk to you, Severus," the girl said in a constricted voice, tears in her eyes.
"Why not?"
"Tuney hates me, because we saw that letter from Dumbledore."
"So what?"
She threw him a look of dislike.
"So, she's my sister!"
You looked at them both, as they were the only people talking in the compartment.
"She's only a—" he caught himself quickly; Lily too busy trying to wipe her eyes without being noticed, did not hear him.
